Cozy, charming and hospitable inn in the heart of the George Washington and Thomas Jefferson National Forest. Check-in and check out with no frills. Rooms are rustic with character. If you suffer from allergies, asthma or are sensitive to humid places ensure you get a room on the upper floors. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating when we asked for another room. They serve breakfast in a picnic basket. They have a wonderful spa, pub and restaurant at walking distance. They also bake cookies daily! In love with this place!

Nice place to stay in a beautiful part of the state. Everything is old, but that's part of the charm. Breakfast is great and brought to your room, picnic style. They will bring it the night before if you have to leave early the next morning.

The bar is tiny and cozy and usually has a friend local or other guest to chat with.

Just an amazing place. Great food at the Water Wheel Restaurant. And had amazing service at the Steele House B&B. I recommend it highly.

The owners and staff are amazing! The Inn goes beyond the expected to make sure you fell welcomed and have a great time. We have stayed many times, and each time just gets better. The rooms are beautiful, the food is outstanding, and the grounds are gorgeous. I highly recommend the Inn!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful inn last weekend. Our room was huge and we so enjoyed the fireplace in our room. I was amazed by many things while staying here. If we had run out of wood for the fire they would have brought us more, cleanliness, the "cozy at home" feeling they work so hard to make sure you experience, dinner at the Waterwheel Restaurant, breakfast being brought to our door, babbling brook, I could go on and on. We will definitely visit again.
