The location was great and we had a package deal that was offered by the hotel/restaurant/and theatre. The room was set up but not very clean and there were not pillow cases on the pillows and there were drool/sweat stains on the pillows. The freezer inside the fridge was built up with ice and the door did not open. Also we could clearly hear the neighbors conversation. The staff seemed annoyed that we were there and making them work. We didn't expect much because it's a lower end hotel and not really expensive and located in a little mini Amish town like area. Amish Acres offers good package deals with discounts to the shops and stores within the little village and buggy tours and documentaries to watch. Its a fun set up and we enjoyed getting a break from our normal every day life. We are planning on returning soon.
We stayed in a king suite with 2 person tub. Things were mostly clean but closer inspection showed several areas that were still pretty dirty from the previous guests. Noting super major just minor things. Felt pretty welcome but not overly welcome.
Stayed in King size spa room with Jacuzzi tub. Room was a nice size and clean, however that was about it for the good ratings for our stay. Inn overall needs a lot of updating, especially for the price we paid. Our bed was not comfortable at all, and felt like we were sleeping on a trampoline anytime we moved. We called asking for extra pillows due to a spare in our room having a large yellow stain, and were told we could have another "only if they could find one." Iron in our room, however no ironing board. Continental breakfast was overall unimpressive. We stayed on the grounds due to a wedding, and will say that the food at the reception from the restaurant was very good!
Very nice inn and the most important to me is extremely comfortable bed. I have had back surgery and it is not often I find a perfect bed away from home. My back felt very good the next morning. There is a little gift shop by the lobby and they sold hand made Amish quilts as well.
Rooms are very clean, staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was fine, but very limited.
We think it was very nice and clean and friendly and wear some things to do that my wife would enjoy
Great hospitality, food is good and rooms are decent. Shower didn't drain well and rooms were a 4.5 on cleanliness. Very friendly staff and are great for Horizon transport employees
This hotel is great for it's location and service. Right next to Amish acres, is very convenient, specially if you can get a package deal with attractions included. Complementary breakfast every morning, complete with free Starbucks Coffee. They also have a swimming pool and clean and comfy rooms. If you get the opportunity, give it a try. It's a great experience.
Scratchy sheets. Disappointing breakfast. Good location close to Amish Acres.
Great nights rest! Pleasant check in staff! Clean comfortable room!
I was a guest for a wedding. It is nice and quiet, and the employees are polite. The rooms were comfortable.
Was nice. Amenities were alright for the price, but I would drive a little more to get a better room. That being said, at least it is close by, so you can finish up your trip at amish acres fsster.
Fairly average. Low shower pressure. Has a Starbucks coffee maker and pancake machine for breakfast which was nice. I liked the area.
Getting married at Amish Acres in December, stopped by the Inn yesterday to check it out. Overall, it isn't the most upscale hotel, but it's got a lot of charm. The very nice girl working the front desk even escorted us down to see the bridal suite where the bride's get dressed. The bridal suite is very nice -- full length mirrors and plenty of space. I'm excited to stay at the Inn in December.
