Great place for all your home repair, tools, appliances and lots more. The only thing is they dont have everything in stock for plumbing repairs.
Has not change people don't greet you or offer help. Were out stock in couple items.
I bought a few household cleaners and a kitchen sink strainer. Usally there are no isle attendants to point you to your item or explain the details. But this time I guess they were training some young new hires and they made themselves really helpful.
I had very good customer service at the store. The electric depertment lady helped find what I was looking for. Also Codi from hardware
Well about this home Depot on variel it was clean and the cashier she was Whit a great attitude....but in the other hand no shopping carts around no help to be found by anyone only feu cashier open...
I was shopping at home depot this afternoon around 7pm. Have a baby. Had to pay and leave. Asked Diane very politly at the costumer service return department if she could ring me up so I don't have to walk all the way to the back...she was very rude and condescending. Not helpful at all. Then I told her this is not what costumers should expect from you I will have to report that!
She said in her own words: I don't care!!! My name is Diane. You can report me.
I am really hoping someone is taking action and not letting someone like Diane be so rude to costumers.
Pros: store cleanliness, organized isles compared to other HD locations, experienced and helpful sales assistance staff (if you can find them), friendly tool "know how" tool rental staff, availability of scissor lifters.
Cons: not a true contractor's location neither a DYI heaven. pricey, not too helpful Customer Service staff (not the sales team), poor outdoor garden plants and furniture variety, slow and inefficient design consulting department, some items are "without a home" - The Home Depot terminology for items the were not incorporated into the store's shelf/space planning, the Outdoor Sheds display is located on prime and much necessary parking space, the (rental) pickup truck is rarely available.
Bottom line: Drive to the nearest Lowe's for weekend projects and DYI. Contractors: unless small purchases are needed, get to a specialty store or The Home Depot in Van Nuys (much larger stock) although that location is far less organized.
B2B advice: refine your PlanOGram, increase floor coverage, revive the 5% discount on HD Credit Card purchases.
Check out girl at self checkout fixed wrong register pricing immediately to sale price. Then i forgot my "cash back" and she found me in the parking lot!! Great service!
I go to home depot when I need to fix things around my home and they always have what I need. I love it.
i took my shower head hose to the woodland hills store. I stopped by a service consultation in the kitchen department. He was kind enough to search the plumbing department employee for me. Brandon from the plumbing department took a look at the shower head, he quickly unscrewed the old hose, put on a pipe seal tape and screwed the new hose on the head. I totally did not expect this courteous service. Thank you Brandon and home depot.
Not enough employees to help you, hard to find someone, have to wait. Good return policy, except plants, need to have original receipt, which I don't always keep. :-(
If you want to get royal attention when you need paint made ask for Buck. He was so nice. I hope he's here every time I need paint.
I have purchased a lot of items from this Home Depot. Actually, all of my home fixtures are from this Home Depot. Today, however, a different and bad experience made me write this review. So there was a long line and I waited for my turn. No problem with the long line. Every single person used a credit card. No problem with this either. Everyone was greated by the cashier. Lots of thank yous and hellos. That is great too. Then it came to my turn. No hello. No thank you. I was asked to show my ID too. The cashier was a racist! Later when I called to complain, but guess what? She answered the phone. I guess she was the manager handling a cashier temporarily. What a shame! This is a message to Home Depot that it doesn't matter, me or someone else, I will not buy from stores that promote racism. If this lady is a manager, then definitely you need to get your act together.
