I was delivering supplies from the Red Cross to a certain Laboratory in this hospital and was helped efficiently through the process of getting there :)
Also, the parking attendant at the "Hospital Entrance" was awesome and let me know that our staff are free to park there and do our business!response / report this review -

Clinical Research program director was excellent at teaching bureaucracy. Diversity and competency is subjective here. If the director doesn’t want you in program your homework will not be considered legitimate work but will take your tuition and spend little time on your presence. Comments or lack of will be hidden quickly at the end of the term so you can’t use in defense - I did not share that an MD was reviewing my assignments before submitting, who also didn’t understand the grading. Strangely enough her dissertation was on organizational justice. Organizational justice starts with self. Academic integrity member at GW- Really?! Consider going to program that is not for profit, especially if you are online. GW is an astounding university and I think it truly does deserve a 5 star rating. I am currently a student in the School of Engineering and Applied Science and I truly think I am getting a quality education.
GW is ranked in the top 10 U.S. universities in many of its programs such as international affairs, international business, political science, law, public health in addition to countless other programs. It is on the rise as a university especially in engineering with the newly opened Science and Engineering Hall that GW invested $300 million dollars in to build. I am confident that in the next couple of years, GW will be recognized for the strides it has taken to solidify its reputation in engineering and many of its other fields.
Overall, I would very much so recommend going to GW. You'll be right in downtown DC in a highly energetic area surrounded by motivated intelligent people. Most students I know lead busy but fulfilling lives and will intern for companies while being involved with clubs or fraternities/sororities and keeping up good grades. GW and DC offer so many opportunities and the key is to take advantage of them. I am involved with numerous on campus organizations, am interning at a company while dedicating most of my time to studies. Most of my peers regardless of major have similar schedules. I've had an easy time finding internships both in NYC (where I'm from) and in DC. (GW was ranked #1 by Princeton Review for Best Colleges for Internships and it is clear why)
I am confident I'll be able to excel in my career with the knowledge I've gained here. The alumni I know who graduated from GW and went to my high school had job offers lined up before they even graduated with 100k+ salaries.
Academically, GW is certainly challenging and is on par with any top school but you could always find the help you need if you look for it. They are generous with financial aid and scholarships. I was accepted to many similar city schools (NYU, BU, Northeastern) but chose to go here because I got a great financial aid package and scholarship and even though some of these similar schools offered nearly identical packages, I felt at home here.response / report this review -

Every single department here is a joke. No quality in providing students with basic necessities, out of textbooks for virtually almost every class before the beginning of the semester, you have to request anything at least three times to get it done (simply changing your SSN is done by a human which gets "lost" in the system sending in my SSN three whole times), overall waste of money for education and campus life.
Advisers not helpful either, registration is locked until registration day, you get informed all holds have been lifted from your acocunt just to find out as soon as the registration server opens, that they haven't removed the holds :). Overall lack of responsibility and incompetence at the most basic level of service to students that are paying well over $65,000 a year on this joke.response / report this review -

GWU is a respected school, but the Disability Office is terrible. The people who work there (Susan Mcmenamin and Gary Stoddard) were really mean to me about my testing accommodations. They do not even care. Avoid this place at all costs if you are a student with disabilities!

Every single department here is a joke. Is this a democratic convention or a commencement ceremony?
Why do the speakers believe it's appropriate to disrespect our leaders and voice their political opinions on stage?
This should be a celebration or educational achievement, not another opportunity to speak out against President Trump.

Clinical Research program is in dire need of a Sarbanes Oxley type check and balance between student program selection and first course instruction conducted by head of program who has complete say on your grade. Two out of six weeks of instruction were lost because the instructor
'misread' or 'missed' what I wrote. I was still slammed on the final assignment landing me out of the program with a B-, unlike some of my classmates, and a lot more in debt. There are other on-line clinical research programs, like San Diego, so choose wisely.response / report this review -

گلابى و معلم هاى عقده زيادن كه معادل پاينى ميدن. هرچى ميگن "اسم" همش بازي، فقط دنبال پولن Don't spend a cent on this garbarge university unless you want no help from the advisor, a dull city life, and crappy professors who give low grades carelessly. Go to any other private or state university but this one!
