If you have extra time in DC, visit the Basilica. It's away from the tourist circuit, but worth trekking up to Northeast DC for. Be sure to stop by the Crypt church and gift shops downstairs, in addition to admiring the architecture upstairs on the main church. It is directly accessible from Brookland metro if you walk on the path going through campus.
As a CUA graduate degree holder, I am very proud of my university for its spiritual commitment, its academic programs, and its attractive campus.
An Amazing university with top-notch academics and Catholic-pathos!
I did not go there but it is awesome

Beautiful campus and a great place to study
Beautiful green campus, friendly people, stunning shrine. Plan on spending 3 hours just looking at the Cathedral. Plan for lunch at Busboys and Poets across the street.
Beautiful campus, top notch philosophy program, mostly beautiful buildings.
Beautiful campus. Check out the National Basilica there too.
Very small, but has some relatively strong departments. Lovely place and location.
