The Gap Deli is a charming place with a lively staff. Food is a delicious melody of flavors. If you are traveling the parkway, take a break to eat here and there are a few shops to view afterwards.

Great food! It can take a while to come out when they are busy, but what's the hurry? Sit back and relax, chill out. Enjoy being in a cute place in a beautiful part of the USA.

My Daughter and I stopped here yesterday while on a "pumpkin finding ride". The service and food was incredible. Will be stopping again when I am in the area.

This place is an amazing must stop along the Blue Ridge Parkway or I-77 route. As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly by I'm assuming the owner, including my children. She spoke to them kindly and helped me find a seat and brought me a high chair right away for my baby. The interior is so cozy, clean, and welcoming. The food was superb. It was just what we needed after a long day of travel. She helped us try to find a nearby cabin since we hadn't yet secured one. She went above and beyond her duty. We will always stop to eat here on any more BRP or I-77 trips.

Great service, good food, great setting right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway, good prices, yummy brownie, they even had a place for us to sit with our dog. I had the Hot Momma sandwich, it was not spicy or hot at all, but rather sweet due to the BBQ sauce, it was yummy. Coleslaw was yummy too!

Wife and I got the Golf Club sandwich and Asian Salad with homemade Soy Ginger dressing. Absolutely delicious! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. A little pricey, but well worth the cost for a lunch out!

I have always found the food to be delicious and the service excellent. Food is all home made. Meatloaf is very good, as are desserts.

Such a delightful sandwich shop right off the beautiful parkway! Great food, wonderful atmosphere! It isnt "fast" food but I don't believe anything worth eating is.

I had a meatloaf sandwich that was bland with no or little flavor. I don't think the cook believes in salt. The atmosphere is nice though. The worst part was that it took forever to be served. If I am correct it took 45 minutes from the time order was made to being served a simple sandwich! The restaurant had one cook, a young man who was trying to assist with the cook but looked lost and one server with a bad attitude, and this was during the most busy lunch hour when all of the tables were full, including the patio tables.
