The Fern Lodge provided my new husband and I with an incredibly romantic weekend elopement. They made plenty of considerate arrangements for us, from changing last minute dining reservations to a couple's massage. The wedding ceremony they held for us was flawless: low-key, beautiful, simple, and elegant. Susan officiated and we both feel she gave us in our ceremony everything we wanted. My bridal bouquet was gorgeous, the cake was simple, delicious, and sized perfectly for our party of four. The breakfasts each morning were amazing. The turn-down chocolates were to die for! We hope to return every spring. Thank you, Fern Lodge!

My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. It was an amazing experience. This lodge is amazing. From the beautiful view, the jacuzzi tub, to the wonderful people who go out thier way to make your stay amazing. I recommend anyone thinking about staying here to just do it! You will not be disappointed!!!!

The Fern Lodge was wonderful. We stayed in the forest room which was beautiful. It is very secluded. Sharon the owner was so hospitable. She offered to get us reservations and sent us off with danishes, yogurt, coffee , and a smoothie since we didn't want to stay for breakfast. We will definitely be returning.

Stayed here with my wife for our honeymoon. It is hard to find the correct words to describe how perfect the Fern Lodge is. It is a place where you can achieve absolute relaxation. The rooms was fantastic. The food was amazing. Nightly wine and cheese cruise on friends lake is another great touch. I will be coming back here many more times.

My friend and I recently stayed at The Fern Lodge. We had been planning a weekend "Friend-cation" for several months and wanted to find the perfect accommodations to spend our time together. We definitely made the right choice. Sharron was so professional and accommodating. The rooms and features were beautiful-the photos don't do it justice! We were thrilled to find the Fern Lodge was also home to two dogs! They were so well behaved and, for an animal lover like myself, it was quite a treat!
The best part about my stay, however, was the above and beyond service. I can not speak more highly of the owners and staff! Since my friend and I were not from the area, Sharron was able to recommend activities and restaurants and went so far as to set up reservations! We went to a local restaurant and had a wonderful time with great food and friendly staff. The next day we went snow shoeing and when I went to get my ear muffs from my bag I couldn't find them anywhere. We called the Fern Lodge to see if I had left them with no luck. We concluded I must have left them at the restaurant the night before. When we tried to call we learned the establishment would be closed for two days. I was heartbroken, we were leaving that afternoon and my ear muffs were a very cherished gift. When we informed the Fern Lodge, Sharron picked up my ear muffs from the restaurant and shipped them to my home for free. I was so impressed by the gesture and am so grateful! I will definitely return to the Fern Lodge in the future and highly recommend it!response / report this review -

This Is one of the nicest places i have ever stayed. the whole atmosphere from the second I arrived was what i would call "High-end Relaxation". My friend and I were greeted at the door and given a tour of the property that helped us get orientated with all the features this magical place has. Home theater with a selection of movies and TV, Pool table, Foosball table, a well stocked bar, multiple board games, outdoor hot tub, sauna and a beautiful lounge area with a cozy fire just to name a few.
When we got to our room we got to know how fabulous this place truly is. The room was meticulously decorated and made us feel like we were staying in a log cabin. The bathroom had a wonderful Jacuzzi tub more than big enough to accommodate two people and the combo steam shower made it hard to leave it. Most importantly Sharon and Greg were extremely welcoming and even offered us a glass of wine to enjoy by the fire when we went to go check on our reservation that Sharon had also made for us. Best of all it felt like home with two extremely well behaved dogs to great us whenever we entered the common area.
This is the perfect place if you are looking for a cozy getaway nestled into the Adirondacks.response / report this review -
