NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
    Kayaking:
They took our money for a kayaking trip although they knew the water levels were too low to make it back in time or even kayak the majority of the time. We got stuck on rocks every 100 ft or so and had to pull our kayaks most of the way. Then they had the nerve to charge us late return fee's $10 per half hour late. (nobody from our trip made it back in time). When we finally got back to the rental building, the owner told us that "we were too drunk to be able to kayak correctly." We each had 3 drinks or less We called to try and have the late charges dropped and the owner again told us that we did not know how to kayak which is why it took us so long.
    Camping:
The bathrooms are useless. In the mens restrooms, one of the toilets did not even flush. Also, only one of the two urinals worked. It took them 3 years to put up a sign for the urinal that was not even connected to the pipes (yes, it would just go straight to the floor). The high school kids running the campsite had no clue about any of the kayaking/canoeing trips or they did not care to explain them to us.

All in all, I am disgusted that the owner of this place now has my money, he disrespected us all and is now losing 9 repeat campers.

Go somewhere else. There were five staff at the office, but they only sent one guy to pick up canoes. It took him half an hour to load up. Then when it came time to leave there was not enough room in the van. I had to sit on someone's lap in the front seat with my face five inches from the windshield. The driver assured me this was safe and if I didn't go I would have to wait another hour to get back to my car. What a joke. Go somewhere else.

All the employees were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our tent camping and the beautiful view. Our canoe trip was awesome we saw a bald eagle lots of wild life. A very nice float with some excited moments too. We loved it and plan to return.

We had a great time. The only complaint I have is that they should remodel the bath room to add a changing room or at least add a bench to put your clothes on while changing. Nevertheless, the staff was great and the equipment was good.

This is the second time they cancelled our tubing activity. They wait until they open up and then call to cancel. This is not the way to do business. They should know a day in advance if the river is going to be too high. Gathering people together on a Friday and then Tuesday is not easy because most people work Mon- Fri. Plus, I live an hour away and if I would of chose an earlier time, I would have arrived there and then been told the tubing was cancelled. I requested a refund. There are several other businesses to check out for activities. Ask about why they cancel and how far in advance they cancel. Just a tip so you don't waste your time and money.

Kayaking was great. The camp grounds was a nightmare of broken picnic tables, unmarked sites, inaccessible sites, and dirty bathrooms. We "reserved" a camping spot only to be told it was first come first serve.then why have a "reservation" ( nonrefundable ) we had to find our own fire ring and picnic table and make our site. There was constant partying and loud neighbors who used the woods as a personal tiolet. While the view of the river was breathe taking I WILL camp elsewhere

We took the tube ride and it was wonderful all of the staff were very friendly and the trip was fantastic. It took us about 4 1\2 hours. The scenery was beautiful. Nice calm float down sugar creak with a few spots with rapids that were a lot of fun to go through. Clear water sandy and slate bottom. We had a group of 7, 4 adults 3 kids 10, 12, and 13 and we all had a great time.

The Staff at Clements was very friendly and professional. We had never tubed before, but the area of Sugar Creek we floated down was breathtaking and beautiful. We got the last trip of the day and left at 12:15 pm and got back around 4:45 pm (that included two short snack breaks). It was a perfect retreat. We had 2 tubes and a cooler float that we tied together. The cooler float was great storage for our food and misc. items. As for Sugar Creek itself, there were areas that were somewhat shallow and contained large rocks that had to be navigated (or, in my case, plowed right into repeatedly), but other areas were deep enough to take a dip under the water. Some of the currents lead you to large trees (or perhaps I was a tree magnet, kind of like I was a rock magnet. it was a tad humorous). You will be fine and love the experience if you are alert of your surroundings. Take in all the small moments, sights, and sounds. I would recommend this experience if you are searching to enjoy the day at a leisurely pace and marvel at the beauty of nature that surrounds us all.

Clements is great! Very friendly/helpful staff. Check in was smooth and the views of the canoe trip was priceless! The best part of the trip was the end when the employees were there to pick up the heavy canoes. The complaints that I have seen on here are a little absurd in my opinion. They cannot control the water level and when the water becomes too high and dangerous they don't allow anyone to go out. They also cannot control the the obstacles on the creek. With that being said, your best bet is to bring your common sense and be aware of surroundings while paddling on sugar creek to avoid them. Those two things will eliminate any possible problems to a great day!

I love This place! The canoes are the best on the creek. The campground is well maintained. Everything is busy on the weekends so if you get a chance try and make it a weekday trip! You won't regret this place. Best stuff around in my opinion.
