I've not eaten at the restaurant, but I have been at the bar a few times. Happy hour eats are very good and the prices reasonable. The restaurant does offer some really good specials. I've always found the wait staff to be friendly. I've had it take some time to get the final bill though, when it wasn't that busy. I rate the bar 5 stars. I can't speak for the restaurant.

The restaurant is beautiful inside! I frequent the Buck at least twice a month and always have a great meal. We usually go during the week for dinner. I really like the crab cakes and you can't find a better clams casino in area. My wife loves the fried shrimp, especially with their cocktail sauce. They must make their own, its has the perfect amount of heat to it. You can really tell they use top quality food and still have appropriate pricing.

Went to the 'Seafood Buffet' tonight. We have gone in the past and it was great, with a nice variety of seafood, soup and salads. Very first time we went there we had sushi also. We were very disappointed this time. No crab legs, no soup or bread. Corn on the cob was cold and mushy, the mashed potatoes were hard, the meat that was sliced was cold and the chicken was tough. The waitress mentioned the price dropped by $5 dollars. We don't mind paying an extra 5 dollars for quality selection and food, so we won't be back.

The place has been around for a long time. I was a bit disappointed in the food. The clam chowder soup was too salty for my taste. Had a shrimp cocktail, but felt the price was too high for what you get. Prime Rib was good, but again the price a bit high at almost $35.00. We ended up spending a good deal of money for our two meals, and even though we enjoyed the dinner, did not feel it was worth the price. The service was good.

I am editing a previous 4 star review, that was actually generous. I was there this Saturday, when I was there to see one of our favorite bands, as many people were (since the band promoted it). I was first taken aback by how little room they gave the band. There was a Halloween costume contest that was impossible for people to even weigh in since there was no room on the stage to have them come up to. The drinks are over priced, as usual. And then the owner, at the end of the night, ensured that I will not be back to the Buck again. After a great performance and packing the place, the owner told the band members that they weren't allowed to load out the side door and called one of the band members an expletive. Why? Because people, not only band members by the way, that were smoking out the side door, flicked cigarettes on the ground. I don't condone littering. However, having receptacles would alleviate that and that was not the fault of the band. To make them walk through a crowded bar with all of their equipment was a disgrace for a band that has brought you in tons of revenue over the last 4 or 5 years. Bad business=no business. Goodbye Buck hotel.

Staff was very friendly, set up and presentation was beautiful. Food was very good. Only gave four stars because the first batch of crab legs was overcooked but the young man quickly resolved the issue and delivered fresh crab legs to the table. Looking forward to dining again.

My husband and I just had our wedding at the Buck Hotel last night and had such a amazing experience that I had to write a review right away. Lauren is a excellent, friendly, helpful, nice, on top of everything coordinator. I had no worries the entire process. She is amazing! Lauren and the staff made our dream wedding come true down to the littlest details. They are very accommodating and friendly. The food for cocktail hour, dinner and dessert tasted sooo yummy, everyone kept mentioning how good the food was and you always want that at your wedding. There are so many food/dessert options to choose from. The wedding packages are at a great price especially for what is included and how beautiful the room is (I love the chairs). If I could give more then 5 stars I would! Thanks to Lauren and the wonderful staff at the Buck they helped us create a fun night that we will always remember!

The great quality of food is undeniable here. The service is usually very good. The outdoor seating is great in the warm weather. I love the upstairs outdoor deck but there is NO bathroom up there and the steps can be treacherous after having an alcoholic drink. This is one of my go-to places when I'm in the area, perfect for all ages, dates or groups.

Good food. Lovely place to eat. Then there's great entertainment on the weekend nights. Drinks are on the expensive side $5. for an O'Douls. But go there for an upscale crowd who like to have good wholesome fun dancing the night away

Locally owned and operated restaurant with great food and services.
The Buck hotel has many offerings from a great bar to large ball rooms.
I have had many functions at the Buck hotel and the food and services have always been superior to others. The staff is always willing to help you. The bar tenders make you feel at home.
I always recommend the Buck Hotel.

I've been getting take out from Ruhling's for years and have NEVER had anything but GREAT food come my way! My boyfriend and I recently went to the buffet and everything, including the service, was FANTASTIC!!! My only suggestion would be to have online ordering.

I was there for New Years Eve. I had a great time. I did not eat anything, or drink alcohol. The place was lively and fun! Those who do, looked like they were enjoying themselves as well. I will definitely go back.

Have gone multiple times with family, I love the Brunches. I love how the menu changes. Recently went with coworkers for our holiday dinner. It was my pick for everyone and I chose there. The menu has something for everyone!
