The Blind Pig is a staple of downtown Champaign and is a great place to grab a drink after work or meet up with friends. Huge selection of quality beers and lots of brews from their brewery across the street.

I've always liked the Blind Pig. Their brews are great and change regularly. Vibe is chill, more locals and grad students than college kids. Plenty of tables and booths make it great for a small group.

Dark, wooden pub atmosphere. Seating ranges from 4 to 6 on open tables to closed off booths that can fit 8 easily. Half pours (2.50$) are the way to go to sample all the brews that you wanna try. 3 dart boards free to play. Crowd ranges from college age to seniors.

Great bar great atmosphere, and a huge list of on the draft beers that are all local and always changing. If you like craft beer, and a pub atmosphere this is a great place to go. Add the half off all drinks happy hour from 4-6 and this is a dream come true.(they only offer the happy hour at there bar not their brewery)

Open Mic comedy on Monday nights with $1PBR and $2 other stuff. No matter the time, good crowd. Never seen a fight or a girl treated bad. Very young group, but all workers, not many of the college obscenities. Atmosphere is warm and friendly, variety of seating accommodations indoor and outdoor. By far, my favorite bar.

Really nice bar, good beer selection with friendly bartenders. More of a quiet bar in downtown Champaign and is a frequent spot for professors at UIUC.

Top rated Beeradvocate bar. Amazing rotating selection of beer on draft. Something to enjoy in every style and a great showing of local options. The vibe is very relaxed and sincere. Play some darts. Do some trivia. Sit back and enjoy a pint or two with friends. The place oozes with class. Certainly worth a stop.

The Pig is basically a landmark spot in C-U at this point, I'd say. Great beer selection, exactly the type of atmosphere you want and expect in a pub. Lowkey and laid back. I mean, it's popular for a reason.
