Quiet, beautiful setting. Old gothic/rustic charm to the building. Elevator was slow and was the only way to get to our second floor room. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean.

Wonderful old monastery, but the guard to the gated community was exceptionally and unnecessarily rude when I got lost trying to exit the neighborhood.

Seems like the spa and pool is having financial issues. Broken tables, toliets not flushing, no TP etc

Price was right. The trade off is that the hotel is in desperate need of an update. The furnishings in our room looked like they were from the 50s. The room was clean but the sheets were either old or cheap. Very worn. The light blocking drapes were too short for the windows. Being located on the golf course and attached to the clubhouse would be a plus if you are there to golf. Otherwise don't expect much.

Very confusing layout, but the incredibly friendly staff made up for it. They walked me to the complete opposite side of the inn and down 2 floors to the right place.

Clean rooms, nice view and good food. We went for Easter Brunch and while it was expensive the food was really good.

Beautiful place and great service. Probably should update the keys to the rooms but they may just be keeping the old keys around to keep thr older look.

The rooms are not geared toward modern day usage. They need more outlets instead of having half of the plugs taken up by lamps and clocks. The lighting is substandard, even in the bathroom. The TVs may or may not work properly; in the room I stayed in the television wasn't comfortably viewable from either bed. Many of the room doors don't lock automatically (requiring you to use a key to lock the deadbolt when you leave the room) and they have the room number on a big plastic tag attached to the key, meaning a lost or stolen key advertises which room it will open. The floor layouts are somewhat confusing and not always clearly labeled.

About the only positive from my stay was that the staff that I had cause to interact with were all very nice and accommodating.

I was unimpressed with the rooms. Although the beds are comfortable, our quite sizable room had two double beds instead of two queen sized beds. This is after we had switch rooms. There aren't nearly enough outlets.
