Nice place to visit. The trees and flowers are amazing. If you like gardens you will love this place. Everything is labeled which is great if your planning a garden and need ideas. It is a good half day place to visit. One can walk slowly and easily see all it's scenery.
I have absolutely adored this place since the very first visit.
From field trips in elementary school to romantic dates now, these gardens never get old. Forever perfect. Take the time to visit this little known gem.
Beautiful. Plants everywhere. There's koi fish you can feed. There are also statues throughout. Every year they have a plant sale and the plants I bought have held up wonderfully.
Very awesome place. You need to visit when you come to Wilmington. The gardens are beautiful. I can't believe it took me 16 years to come here. Probably because of my allergies. They have huge Coi that you can feed and plant sales often. It's really neat.
This place is absolutely magical no matter what age you are. It's a very accessible location and it offers tons of chairs and benches to sit down and relax on. I'm coming here at least monthly if not weekly!
Relaxing walk among so many beautiful plants and flowers. Great for children. Love the pond and feeding the fish.
If you're looking for an awesome date spot, this is the place. Beautifully structured koi ponds, lovely gardens, and a quaint little tea house make this one of Wilmington's must-visits. Bring some quarters so you can feed the koi!
I really enjoy the gardens. Each section has a different topic (vegetable, native NC plants, fruits, herbs, a tea garden, a children's garden, and so on). The educational pamphlets are helpful. There is also a nice picnic area.
This place was beautiful! Perfectly quiet but there was still people there to help if you have any questions. Very peaceful and even has a Japanese tea house tucked back in the garden. Also features a small children's area with musical instruments and books to read in the kids house. Has picnic tables to have lunch totally worth a drive (completely free)
Is a really cool place to spend time with family and I saw some people doing photos session wich I think is a perfect idea in the perfect place to do so. Definitely would come back to visit again.
Beautiful and peaceful place full of great ideas! Mind you don't feed the dragon
This place was beautiful - reminded us very much of some expensive Botanical Gardens we have been to in the past - we couldn't believe it was free AND we could bring our dog! Definitely worth visiting!
Abundant offerings at their annual plant sale. Beautiful, well-manicured gardens! Such a nice outing that we shall return to visit. We were assisted graciously by their numerous volunteers and master gardeners. Thank you!
There was quite a bit of construction when we went. It's small but nicely laid out with winding paths, pretty focal points. Great place to bring children.
