Not enuf true walking trails. Inconsiderate visitors with dogs off leash. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Area is clean and well maintained with NYS residents tax dollars which is better than supporting career 2nd, 3rd, 4th generations white trash welfare pigs.

Such a beautiful park not used to its potential. Long for a beach (yes, with SAND.remember SAND?). Wish they'd open the beach house again and have bathrooms and (good) affordable food. Could be so utilized. A shame it isn't. But it is beautiful. Update: Improvment made. Good, reasonably priced food at marina. Now waiting for that beautiful beach house to be utilized. Onward!

My family goes there to cook-out and to swim. There is plenty of space for everyone and the views are great. Its a good place to have family reunions. However, swimming there when the lifeguards are on duty is a waste of time. You must stay within a marked boundary that is only two feet deep at best. We try to get to the park after the lifeguards have left so we can enjoy the water and actually swim.

Scenic lake area with lots of picnic tables. Hiking trails were short and left some to be desired

Can't swim (dirty beach). Looks great for boating, I saw them cleaning out seaweed.
