I was pleasantly surprised by this casino. It is a brand new building. And the venue inside as fun.

a place I would go back to again & again employees are very polite & customer service is great. I find the casino very sanitized & clean, giving credit to employees doing such a wonderful job!

Been going to this place for many years. Will not go back unless management makes some changes. Usually spend my Monday afternoons there. Hard to find slot machines that will let you down load your free play. Smokey atmosphere is horrible, no ventilation. I always start by having lunch, more often than not a bowl of soup. Since I don't drink soda I always get a courtesy cup for water. Been doing this since they moved from the grandstand. The last time I was there June 4th, I was told that they are no longer providing cups for water. Between this and the defective slot machines this was the last straw. I left a comment form at the players club with my contact information. I have not heard back from anyone regarding my concerns. Not surprised as I have asked to be contacted in the past, and was not. Apparently management does not care about guests concerns. Terrible terrible guest services. This was 2 months ago. Still waiting to be contacted. 5 months, still waiting

That is the best casino that I've ever been too. I absolutely love this one. I do win almost every time I go there. ☺ at sandia casino, I never seem to win. Or at Santa Ana. The downs is the most fun and very exciting casino to be and play at. I know I never want to leave.

The people that hang out around in the front of the casino is a negative, the bar us nice not too long of a wait for drinks the live music was a plus . The cafe has monthly specials and a small discount for card holders.

Once you get upstairs and into the Jockey Club area things are fine. The entrance to the Downs is disgustingly dirty and poorly maintained. There is no signage to let you know if you're on the right track. Difficult to navigate if you haven't been here before. Once upstairs the whole dynamic changes. The area is obviously better taken care of than the lower level. Every employee we ran into was helpful and fun. The view is amazing. Great views of the Sandia Mountains. Live horse racing right now, through September, is a big draw. Not a bad seat in the house. Food and drink are available. Overall, a very worthwhile trip.

We went here to spend a ten dollar coupon we had received. Unlike many casinos theirs is 100 percent smoking, no place for us nonsmokers to escape to. The entire time we were there we only saw one person actually win a decent amount, most local casinos would have several winners in the time, 2 hours, that we were there. The penny slots were not actually a penny in fact most were $1.00 or more. Do not frequently go to casinos but this seemed worse than most.

This casino is one to only go if you can spend over a hundred dollars.. The payouts are good but like they say you have to spend money to make money.. better to go in the afternoons and in the morning on the weekends but I have yet to hit a jackpot

Bartenders at first turn lounge need to learn how to bartend. At least I was recognized as waiting but then passed by. I left. I won't go back - far too many choices to suffer lousy service at this place.

I love this ever growing and upcoming local social spot in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly and works hard to be accommodating to your needs and concerns. I feel safe and have fun and even win. Security is tight and very professional. They take their location and standing very seriously yet you still feel welcome. I love the food court they have which gives a break from the grind of the gamble. The variety of food, not to mention. The baked goods give me something to look forward to and an excuse for frequenting the establishment not always healthy for me to visit all the time. It's just a lot of fun

Staff are always nice and professional.
Fun place to enjoy a night out with the girls. Singing, Dancing or gambling and having a good time. However, some nights are a little different and uncomfortable with a different crowd that makes you want to keep your purse and belongings close by.
