  Food was ok at best, and not great decoration. I actually liked the decoration on the carry out side better than the eat in side.

  Waited almost an hour for a vegetarian eggplant basil dish. The dish was good but not worth the wait. Curry's a bit watery, I like a thicker more savory sauce. Wait staff are pleasant. New bar area is a nice addition.

  A hidden gem in the heart of Putnam County right along route 6 in Carmel New York. Inviting setting for both inside for dining, lounge with games and amazing beverages as well as outdoor seating to enjoy the lovely breeze coming off lake gleneida. Thai home cooking that is satisfying. From a filling & delicious lunch special to treat yourself and friends or to dine or kick back and chat, this place is your spot. The dishes a great with decent portions, full of flavor, and variety accompanied by a staff thats kind and friendly. Highly recommended visit. Oh... and the thai iced tea & coffee are a total #win! Try it!

  Great food, service is fine. This is the most authentic Thai food as you're going to get for tens of miles. The food is well prepared and consistent.

  Now a staple of the local cuisine scene, Thai Golden blends the succulent flavors and enticing spices of this traditional faire with a vibrant space, upbeat soundscape and personable service staff. Easy to spend more than you intend but typically worth it anyway.
  Try the honey ginger tea and coconut sticky rice.

  Best Thai spot in Putnam. The noodle heat is top notch and the Tom Yum is superb. Nice little spot on Lake Carmel as well. Love it!

  This place has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. You won't find flavors like this anywhere else in the area. Thai Golden truly is an Oasis in a culinary desert. The menu is great and the pricing is fair.
