I have been to Thai by the Sea a couple of times now. All I can say is AMAZING!!! Small operation but the food is GREAT! Probably some of the best food around and the owners are super nice.

This is a local Thai joint. This sweet older couple run the entire thing, just the two of them. The food is authentic and cooked by the wife. Always on point with amazing flavor and perfect spices. The gentleman is sweet as can be waiting on each person hand and foot, they both work hard and it shines through in the food. Don't expect a hurried experience, this is a sit down and enjoy amazing food place. Definitely worth a try if you have never been!

Good food and filling but service was slow and very understaffed the owner/waiter was super smiley and weird it is noisy in here if only two people I can't imagine if it was full bc it would be sooo crowded. I asked for the banana ice cream and they didn't have it and that was a problem. The only reason I'm
Giving it 3 stars is bc my fools liked it.

Great food but under staffed. Slow service because of that. Owner trying to do too much himself maybe to save salaries? Was better when they first opened.

The owner is a tool. I cannot speak to the food as we weren't able to eat--since we left after being ignored at the door for a good five minutes. There were two tables; it wasn't like the place was slammed. Note to owner/management for future reference: The phrase "I'll be with you as soon as possible" goes a long way. Consider using it.

Have to agree with the others about the owner and the customer service. Owner never attempted to greet us at the door and servers walked by with no intention of seating us. Understandably the place was not busy, probably because of the horrible customer service. We walked out after about 5 mins. of not being greeted / seated. Save your money and visit one of the other nearby good Thai restaurants that have great food and actually take care of their guest.

Not kid friendly. Walked out of the restaurant when he told us to make sure our daughter did not touch the tea pots. Why sit us next to them? No greeting and when asked if we knew what we wanted to eat and we said we hadn't looked at the menu but all wanted water his response was he'll come back when we made our mind up. We packed up and left

We love this place!!! Been coming here for like two years and enjoy it as much as we did the first time. The server/owner can get busy easily but it's definitely worth the wait. Our usual is chicken and rice soup, dumplings, and Garlic sauce!! Sometimes Curry! The wonderful woman who cooks in the back is amazing!

Our second attempts at thai by the sea went like this- we walked in to place a carry out order and after waiting a while to even be acknowledged, we were told that they wouldn't serve us because they were too busy. At most, there may have been five other customers in there. Keep in mind, after our first visit went about the same. We were actually seated but it took about 20 mins for them to take our drink order and when they served the food, we asked for another order of the veggie rolls and the owner came across that we were asking entirely too much . We won't be back.

The owner is a douchebag. We walked in at 730pm only to have the old owner get in our face and say "If you want food you'll have to wait til tomorrow." He had s total of 2 customers at the time. What a joke. Their good was great the first and only time I've eaten there, however I'll never return. The owner is an old jackass who doesn't deserve to stay in business.

Terrible customer service. My family and I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years. I went to the restaurant at 5 p.m. on a Saturday to order take out food. Upon entering the restaurant, the owner rudely held a sign up in front of my face saying "no takeout orders" instead of talking politely to me. Bob said that he could not even feed his current patrons, but I observed only 8 people total in the restaurant. Bob was hateful and demeaning, and my family and I will never be back to this restaurant. Thai by the Sea - good luck serving your patrons. You should consider yourself lucky to turn away business, but doing it in such a rude way won't help you weather the off season very well. Rude, poor communications, and general lack of care/concern for their customers.
