You will not be disappointed by the people watching here!! The best time to go is when it's a little chilly out. There's not many limits on what you can bring in (blankets, etc) so staying warm isn't an issue. Cold weather also means a smaller crowd which equals less traffic and better parking. Turn 4 is my favorite place to sit. The best wrecks tend to happen there!

Due to traffic related issues I STRONGLY suggest heading into the race early.. like hours early. There is actually plenty of pre race entertainment (the atmosphere outside is reminiscent of the vendor tents at the state fair to me). If you try to head in only an HR early you WILL spend an hour getting the few short blocks from exit to parking. As for the venue..imo all the seats are good.. but if it's in hot time of year it's prob better to sit as high up as u can so u get some shade. Be aware that a pit pass will get you into the I field where u can sign the starting line and see each teams pit area as well as watch the driver intros..but it will not get u into the "garages" where u can actually check out the cars and possibly meet the drivers/teams

This track is awesome! I don't think there is a bad seat there. Track staff is so friendly. Lots of driver souvenir trailers and food. It's pricey but so is every other venue of that kind. Love Big Hoss - the TV that everyone can see that shows you what's happening and replays. They let you bring your own cooler so it makes for a great family experience!

We had free tickets and sat in the 138 section. We were in row 23. This was a great vantage point for the race. The facility is great, and the restroom actually was big enough. Concessions were efficient. Being allowed to park for free and bring s cooler were great. This WOULD get 5 stars, but the Nascar organization is killing their own sport by doing things like allowing Toyota to compete, and chasing off fan favorite drivers.

The best racing in Texas! NASCAR series visits here twice year and should be a must see race if your a fan!! High speeds and action on this banked mile and a half track. 200 mph racing and not a bad seat in the house!! You will be amazed! Texas Motor Speedway is a first class race facility and so amazing to see in person!!!

Was a great overall race experience. Plenty of gifts and memorabilia. And we were able to bring in our own cooler of food and drinks. Just don't know why we, along with many others, were forced to wait over an hour in line for our headset and scanner that were paid for in advance.

Such an awesome place! My brother and I got to go down where the race cars race on the track! They drove us around in their van - one can actually drive race cars on the track. We were all their for a conference. The van was still fun, hurling itself down the track everyone going from side to side! We then were later able to see the cars roaring down the track!

My family consists of 8 of us, we go every April and November race. We've noticed a decline of driver trailer merchandise decline over the last couple of years. This is a disappointment to my children who's ages range from 19-9 yrs old. They haven't been able to purchase their favorite driver's merchandise like they used to, and they all have different drivers. The ticket box office shop has thinned out quite a bit on driver merchandise as well.
On another note, we love what seats we get and the food/drinks! Every year we can't wait to go for NASCAR!

I attended the #FormulaDrift event there this year. The whole complex was incredible! Also MASSIVE! I had a foot injury and found the handicap access, well, difficult. Simply because the parking was so far from the giant curving hill you had to trek to to get to the gates, then another long trek up and down hill to get to the event. I had a rolling walker with me but opted to use a cane instead because I could not have gotten to any seating with the roll walker. But given that this was an event held on the infield of the oval track and the seating was temporary bleachers, understandable. If that walk just to get from parking to the inside of the park was not so long and up and down hill it would not have been so bad on my body. A shuttle would have been AMAZING!!!

Sunday night, 11p, is not a night to host a rave. Friday night, awesome. Saturday night, awesome. Sunday afternoon and evening, still awesome. Sunday night until midnight, decidedly not awesome.

Went for the Ride-Along Experience. Had an amazing time. The staff at the gift shop and speedway were friendly and extremely helpful. They have a really nice variety of stuff in the gift shop, and something for all price ranges starting at $1. There may have been something for less, but that was the lowest price on anything I saw. Which was on a Dale Jr bumper sticker, and I bought one among other things.
Really a neat place to check out.

I am from Indianapolis and this track is definitely a must go to. Had a Great time. Was easy to get in and out. Could see the whole track and the people were friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back.

We spent the weekend in the camp grounds and had a great time. They have a free tram service that can get you easily and comfortably to the race venues. There are no hookups in the regular camping areas, so you'll need a generator. They have vendors to supply water and take waste if you run short. There's lots of racing to watch and the camp ground, where we were was fine to rest up. The sound of race cars is all around, but that's why you go. Despite what you may hear, the camp areas were orderly and fun. People from all walks of life were there all having a good time.

Don't have comparison, as first race ever. But seemed to be professional, and accommodating to the enthusiasts. Sad to see venue filled to WAY less than capacity, on a 85 degree Sunny day, but all seemed to be as you'd expect at racetrack. And a Fletcher Corny Dog stand ensured I'd get a food product I'd know. Friend enjoyed her Kettle Corn. Was NO traffic getting to the Saturday race (again, almost sad for state of sport, but no complaints as a driver.) And dang, saw 10 or so elementary age kids - and every one was smiling (and well behaved.) God Bless America !!
