The food they serve in ICU is very bad. The mashed potatoes taste like paper, our out of a box. The peas taste like they are cheap ones from a can. The turkey they served was a few slices of cheap sandwich slices on top of each other. I got me a guest plate visiting my husband and am disappointed that I paid $5 for that kind of food. Yes the nurses in the emergency room are so terrible and they need a manager teaching them how to treat other human beings / ill patients!! I have other nightmare stories but most of you who know how bad it is can imagine what I have experienced in that emergency room. Has anyone tasted the food yet that they serve? When I was there it was so terrible. Read above.

Waited for 5 hours in the waiting room with my 2 Year old. Finally, left at 2am. Thank GOD my daughter was okay. This is my third experience with this ER , first under Tennova. Nothing is different. I almost died in the ER in 2015 after being sent home while I was miscarrying and almost bleed to death. Never again! They need to get it together!!!

Consider driving to Nashville for ER purposes. The time spent in the car will be less than the waiting room. We arrived and the waiting room was only a 1/4 full. Took 5 min to check-in, 45 min to triage, 2 hours 45 min to validate insurance paperwork, 4 hours to exam room, another 40 minutes to get test results, another 20 minutes for one dose of antibiotics (just go to the pharmacy in town for your whole prescription). Also they gave us a urine sample cup at triage and after returning it with a sample to speed things up but they never submitted it. When I asked an hour later they said the results weren't back yet. So I asked specifically if they submitted the lab request and they flat out lied and said they were. Save yourself some time and drive somewhere else.

Worst hospital ever. The only good thing about this place is how nice it looks. That's about it. The ER is beyond ridiculous. Waited 6 hours without any type of pain medication. I was in so much pain I thought I broke ribs or something. They misdiagnosed me, placed me in a tiny room that was for psychotic people (they told me this), and discharged me in pain. On top of that, I took my mother to be seen here because she was referred here. She sat in the room for an hour to be seen and she had an appointment. I'm not sure why this place is still running.

These people genuinely do not care about people, just money. The abuse I recorded at the hand of these so called professionals was nothing short of horrifying. They're also not technically a hospital, they're a care facility, and a bad one at that. The rooms and floors were filthy, the air just felt like it was dirty, as weird as that sounds. The entire experience was just awful and I can't recommend enough that you take your loved ones to a legitimate hospital like Vanderbilt or St Thomas.

My husband had to go to the ER & everything was clean, attended to quickly. Everyone was very nice, except when he needed to go to the restroom. He had to wait over a half an hour then I had to go get someone.

My experience was with the x-ray dept. which was very pleasant, just had to wait a bit long. Now I have found out my heel has a fracture, and I need the x-ray transferred to a disc so someone else can pick it up for me, to see another doctor. This has not been a pleasant experience, they insist that I come by in person to get the disc. that is not an easy thing to do since I don't need to be walking. any suggestions?

This ER is an absolute joke. We took our daughter because her temp was well above a mild fever. We were told that they were ordering Tylenol in the meantime for her. We waited 4 hours and still didn't receive the tylenol. Don't waste your time going to this place. Go somewhere else that is more organized and more caring. Making children wait so long for care is absolutely ridiculous. We will no longer be going to this hospital unless we have no other option. If that time ever comes, we will be praying.

I haven't seen my doctor since I've been going to this hospital. On yesterday, my contractions were 3-5 minutes apart for 3 hr. I finally decided to go to the hospital. I get to the hospital, I'm cramping, but my contractions started off distant, then started back getting close. My due date is Thursday, 10 Aug., my husband asked the doctor who was filling in for my doctor about inducement. She told him since I wasn't in labor, I was none of her concerns and we would talk about inducing me once I'm 41 weeks. Since I've turned 32 weeks, I've had problems with my breathing and feeling weak. I tell them every time I go to the hospital, and the only thing they do is monitor the baby. My nurse only checked on me twice out of the 5 hr I was at the hospital. My records were transferred from my last hospital and they lost them, so they had to end up drawing more blood which made me feel even more weak. I hope if you decide to go, you'll have a better experience than I did.

The ER is a joke, don't waste your time. My son has a 103 fever, people with large open cuts just left waiting for hours, one guy at the desk who looked like he didn't care one bit and got an attitude when asked for assistance.. Something needs to change besides the name.. we went to Premier and received the best care I've ever had in any hospital..

My fiance was seen promptly in the Emergency room, we went in Sunday morning around 10 am for abdominal pain. The hospital staff did admit him and moved him to a room for treatment. the treatment was round the clock antibiotics and fluids he was on a clear fluid diet for almost three days and they asked him for a stool sample that wasn't going to happen without him eating something. the Dr's made a point of seeing him twice a day until I mentioned that we had no health insurance. Fortunately they took this to heart on the third day and stopped testing him every other hour and released him, he was better by the second day. they still don't know what cased the inflammation that they detected in his lower intestine so we will have to follow up treatment with a provider. I am cringing waiting on the bill for this visit.

Labor and Delivery. Amazing experience. The nurses went over and beyond. They all were compassionate and truly cared about my well being. The postpartum ladies were also a phenomenal bunch! Everyone has been so sweet and helpful.
