We always enjoy our stay here. Been here a couple times this year and plan to go back. Rate are reasonable, proportional to the type of hotel.

Has a Up-North feel to it complete with Pine Trees, my wife and I stay here often and have never had a bad experience. Not the Crown Plaza but it is what I expect from a small town Mom & Pop. We usually rent the suite with the Jacuzzi for a stay-cation.

Staff was very professional and courteous in helping my roofers obtain rooms sporadically during a recent project we did in tecumseh. Will use again next time we have a project out that way.

Had relatives from out of town staying here. The room is nasty cobwebs all over, it also smells funny. They have to clean there own room because this place only cleans every 3 days. Unprofessional in my opinion.

Nice and helpful staff. First room we checked into smelled funny but they happily moved us. Was hidden off the main roadway in a weird way but once figured out how to get into the parking lot the first time. Complimentary breakfast had little snacks that you could take for the day.

Very "vintage." Not terrible though. Room had microwave and fridge. Bed is decent. Clean enough. Very helpful and friendly owner.

After working Appleumpkin Saturday, my sister and I looked forward to a quiet evening in our hotel room; we requested the quieter section of the hotel and were assured no parties were allowed. We were escorted to our room so the man could ensure us that everything was in the room. That was kind of strange, but I went with it. When he opened the door we discovered the room was not cleaned. We were moved to the family suite. After settling in, I tried to shower, but it didn't work. The water at the sink came out seriously brown. Within an hour of falling asleep, the next door party began. Young adults (maybe) were constantly in and out of their room. They chose to stand in front of my our hotel room to chat and smoke. They must have turned on their heat (it was cold) only to have to furnace make serious clunking noises at regular intervals. Finally at 1:30 am, I asked the guys if they could move so I could get some sleep. After climbing back into bed, I couldn't get warm; the bed had sheets and a summer bedspread, nothing more. In the morning the manager's answer to my entire horrible stay was that I didn't know how to work the shower and I should have called to complain. Another patron stated her shower didn't work either. I won't stay there again even for free

Low priced motel, I'm pretty happy with our stay. I couldn't find another hotel or motel with as low of a price in area, and the location. Room was clean, simple, basic, with everything I needed. Walked across the street to the grocery store. Staff was really friendly and responsive. Oh and Free Wifi! A lot of hotels and motels charge for this now. Pretty sure this is the best value in the area.

Worst Room Ever!!! Floors dirty! Bathroom dirty! White bug powder WITH dead bugs behind beds!!! Owner non responsive to complaints, stating "this is a rural area and the bugs were dead". Refused to credit any funds. Only thing that keeps this place around is that it is the only Hotel in town for Race weekends, and she refunds nothing. Stay outside of town and drive in if you must. I am a prior resident of Tecumseh and it is a shame they don't have an ordinance that could shut this place down. Health department needs to look into bug problem to help the poor monthly rental people needing to say there for lack of another option. This place should get no "stars"!!!!
