Friendly conversation, A.M. Brittany was great, price too high for it to be a regular shopping destination...
Yet another Starbucks failure!
Teavana is infamous for it's high pressure sales practices and preying upon those who are new to the world of tea. This place is no different. They attempt to con the neophyte tea connisure into purchasing large quantities of overpriced tea that is full of pesticides (Google Teavana pesticides) and artificial flavoring. They attempt to convince you that you really need an iron teapot and their overpriced tea tins. On weighing the tea they always go way over the requested amount - watch out!
Unless you feel up to financing your tea needs through a bank, there are other tea vendors in town and online where one can purchase higher quality teas and accessories for a better price and less hassle.
My wife and I stopped in there to look at loose-leaf tea and some accessories as we're just getting into it. The girls there were great - they walked us through the samples, explained some of the differences, and helped us pick out things to buy that night.
When the computer system crashed they were super apologetic when there was no need to be, and even made my wife and I a hot cup of tea each while they got the whole thing sorted out.
I would definitely recommend this location to anybody that's looking for some tea, and I know we both plan to visit them again to restock.
