Personally this is my first time calling this shop and I didn’t really like the way the lady on the phone was speaking. She act like she didn’t really want to be talking on the phone. I work in customer for years now. It definitely could have been better customer service.
Great place to get a part for your car when u can't afford brand new parts from auto part stores ..lots of cars to choose from
Very nice peoplethe rows where well marked Cars are easy to find. Very clean for a salvage yard prices are good too.
Thank you Venus, Autumn and Becker. When this old lady walked in, she was lost. You were all so helpful and had great attitudes on a busy day.
Great place! Clean yard! A backyard mechanic's dream land!
I walked the long mile in their rocky, dusty yard to find the old maxima and it had the part I needed, a door glass for the back drivers side. I walked all the way back in the heat, waited on line and paid for the part and labor to remove the glass. The cashier even made a special note to make sure the laborer knew it was the door glass. When my sister returns the next day they had pulled the wrong glass despite all the extra effort to prevent that. The cashier promises that they would correct this and have it the next day. The next day they call and they still have the wrong glass. Now they say sorry the other glass is gone. I say no they are not looking for the door glass. A few days pass and I stop by. They try to give me the wrong glass again. I explain once again the situation. I asked them to go and look but the manager Greg refuses. He laughs as he approves for me to come back another day and look for free. The cashier is polite but just says I'm sorry.. there was no sense of customer service.. no effort to make this right.. CAPS is a good idea but new management is needed. i really felt dismissed and frustrated by this whole process. This makes no sense. There was absolutely no effort to serve the customer.
**** UPDATE****
I changed my rating from 2 to 4 after receiving a call from the General Manger Kaleb who apologized for my experience, listened to my concerns and efficiently resolved the issue in less than 48 hours. As disappointed as I was with my initially experience, I am equally impressed by their efforts to resolve the problem and improve their customer service.
CAP is a great place for reasonably priced parts. The staff is always really friendly and helpful too. 😁
They get two stars instead of one because they have really good Covid-19 mitigation protocols in place. Counter is surrounded by plexiglass and you talk through a speaker. Behind the plexiglass employees were wearing masks and customers required to do the same. Plenty of space between you and the next customer.
However, I specifically asked for a silver Nissan Maxima fuel filler door from a silver Maxima listed on their website. I gave them the printout with the location circled. I paid the extra $15 for them to pull it. Late Sunday afternoon when it was ready, it was white. When I asked the reason it wasn't silver, the reply is they put the vehicle color in the computer based on what they are "told" when it arrives. The man asked if I'd walked out and looked at it, which I did not. They offer to refund the fuel filler door cost, but I'd still be out the fee to pull it. Lesson learned. Walk out in the junkyard and verify that the car is the color that matches their website. I guess I'll return when they get in another silver Maxima and be sure I verify the color. Attached is a screenshot from their website, the fuel filler door next to my silver Maxima, and the fuel filler door comparing it to my white Honda. it is obviously white.
Great place and if they don't have it they will get it for you with out a doubt
I would love to give positive feedback. We have been to multiple junk yards as a family, so this isn't new but we were unable to enter because our 9 year old was with us. We have no one nearby so our kids are literally always with us. While I understand the reasoning behind it, it makes it impossible to visit. I hope as a family centered business you can find a way to allow a family experience. Our daughter happens to love helping her dad work on the truck so he isn't going anywhere she isn't welcome.
This is a decent junk yard but it has gotten worse over the years . Mostly because of the type of people that are frequenting it more. A lot of ebayers like to strip the yard because they have no jobs so if you don’t get to a car right away chances are what you want will be taken and listed for 3x as much on eBay or craigslist . Prices have gotten a lot higher too . They usually have a good selection of running cars for sale too . Hours are good .
worst customer service i have ever seen. called this morning because i live a hour away and wanted to know how picked the jeep i was looking to get parts for was still available and i was told there is no way to tell and put me on hold once i asked for manager. Pops pick AND PAY IS WAY BETTER
Freindly! Also a very low price as promised. Not the fanciest place but who wants to pay for bells and whistles. I just needed a windshield.
Like they say "the best place to pull off a deal". If you are not mechanically inclined CAP has people who will pull the part for you for a nominal fee.
My parents went in to ask for a specific car piece to a car they had in stock. My parents paid 75$ for them to take the specific part out. At 12:30 p.m. they were told that the part would probably be taken out in about 2 hours. They waited exactly 2 hours (2:30 p.m.) and they were told that after 2 more hours the piece would be taken out. They waited another hour (3:30 p.m.) and after that hour they were tired of waiting and paid 2$ to enter the yard. After seeing that the car was still in one piece and that nobody was taking any parts out they were outraged.
My parents demanded a refund for the 75$ to "remove" the car part. The man at the front desk did not want to refund the money back and stated that the part would definitely be out by 6:00 p.m.! At first it was 2 hours, then 4, then 6. Honestly, this is not how you treat your customers that want good service. In the end we did get a refund but so much time was lost and that is something that you cannot get back. If you are looking for a part I recommend that you try a trusted company like AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts.
Says call or check online for inventory. Call and I get someone who smarts off on the phone about how he's in front of a computer and doesn't know if they have a part. Good prices but their staff leave a bit to be desired.
Great place to get your own parts! They even cross reference the cars that have the part you need. Love this place
Easy place to pull anything you need. Relaxing and stress free. No pressure. Bring your tools, and just be in heaven. I found a part for my old Mercedes that was limited nationwide. The guys at the counter are pretty cool too. The website also let's you know what cars come in every few days which makes it even less stressful.
Well organized and helpful staff. Cars are proped up so you can easily pull parts
Great place to get cheaper auto parts.
Good selection of cars and unbeatable prices. The yard is nicely set up and nice gravel paths unlike some other yards.
Tons of cars, so chances are, you'll find the part you need. Ordering the part at the front desk is also an option for a lot less money than anywhere else. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
Good place to sell junk cars or looking to save on repairs for older model cars. Pull the part yourself or some can do it for a fee.
