We picked up some Macarons as a party gift a couple months ago. Of course, they were so pretty that we had to get a some extra for ourselves. Unfortunately, they were quite disappointing. Not only were they not very sweet, but they didn’t necessarily taste like their advertised flavor. They all tasted like the same version of bland.

I know they’re really known for their waffles. But personally, I haven’t been much for those either. They’re just a little too dense for me. I’m happy to enjoy a bite (assuming it’s covered in fruit and Nutella) and that’s all I want.

I have enjoyed their buckeye balls in the past. Hopefully those are still good!

dense sugary waffle, high fructose corn syrup nutella, sweetened strawberry topping, canned whip cream, i didn't get enough waffle with that sugar., I've been to Europe, not belgium, but the waffles I had in Amsterdam were way better/different

Turkey club sandwich is really good but I was disappointed a week later when i asked if they made custom sandwiches and they said yes. I told him I basically wanted the turkey club without any turkey or bacon just extra eggs and cucumber, so he tried to charge me the same price as the turkey club even though I took meat and bacon off, seriously? I was shocked so I said shouldn't it be less? he acted confused, I said I guess I'd pay like 7 (dollar less) even though I believe it should of been 5 or 6, but whatever, then I get the sandwich, find a place to sit, and find out they didn't make it how I asked, they put extra cheese but not extra cucumber or eggs like I had asked, by that time it was around noon and I hadn't had breakfast so I just took the extra cheese off that I didn't want and ate the sandwhich. this was July 2nd

Had a 5 dollar waffle with chocolate here. Waffles are very small, not nearly as good as the 3 euro waffles with chocolate I ate in the Antwerp train station. Had high hopes, sadly does not measure up to what I had in Belgium.

I love this place, but I was disappointed when I took my mom for her very first trip to Findlay Market and the person behind the counter told us that they were too busy to make pizzas that day. This was a specific reason for bringing her there, as I have raved about the pizzas, and have waited 30 mins for one before with no issue. Extreme disappointment.

Best Bloody Mary I've had. I admit, I have not had every Bloody Mary in the world. Their chicken and waffles is incredible.
