I recently visited Talon Winery with a bridal party, where we had a wonderful experience. Great tasting. Great staff. Excellent scenery and wine selection. A must-visit in the Lexington area.

Always helpful, polite, and inviting the staff makes you feel welcome. And the wine club is an exceptional deal if you're free to make it out each quarter. The property is beautiful, and always well manicured, and that's how it's made it onto possible wedding venue list for us.

Didn't take a tour as its winter. But the wine was fantastic and the lady serving us was awesome and very knowledgeable. Definitely going back when it warms up and the vineyard grows back. Excellent experience.

A great winery with amazing views and a nice range of good wines. The tasting room is a 1790 farmhouse which is amazing in its own right. If there could quite possibly be a complaint, it's that the tasting room is too small for the crowds and you have to stand.

Talon Winery was in an excellent option for a wedding venue. We planned our wedding in Lexington, KY this March while living in El Paso, TX. We wanted something simple and fun for our family that would bring everyone together and Talon did a great job of accommodating and working with us step by step to make the day the best it could be. Lauren and the ladies at Talon Winery do an excellent job of explaining various options for how to plan and execute your event. They are very supportive, professional, and respectful and we greatly enjoyed working with them. The Vineyard in Lexington is located well enough outside the city to provide a spectacular event in the rolling hills of Kentucky. The expenses were more reasonable compared to other venues and Talon works with you to help find the best vendors to make things even better. The wine was also fantastic. My wife and I really enjoyed the afterglow but many of our guests enjoyed the Chardonnay as well. The setting of the venue through the vineyards, up the hills, and beside the lake truly make it a great experience.

Poor service. If you rent the Barn for event be careful if it is cold outside because that place is freezing and they don't warm it up. They ask for extra money to put lousy propane heaters and charge 100 per heater. Staff is very unexperienced. Waste of money. If there is minuse review i would pick that

Love this local winery! We have hosted several weddings here. It is a classy, beautiful, Kentucky venue. Perfect setting for any event. They have weekend events such as jazz concerts and sell local products. A must when in Lexington!

Groomsman in a wedding, and granted it's August, but it is 94 degrees in the main barn, supposedly the AC is on. They claim that it's normal and not willing to help out. It's cooler outside!! I have always heard good things about Talon but yet to see it.

Beautiful setting. Staff was not attentive because there were too many young single girls there. Someone should tell them an older lady might just have more money to spend and may know more about wine and service. Tastings for the young girls were presented quicker and we're larger. I was forgotten about twice. The tasting area is too small for the venue which prevented any discussion about the wines poured out. It felt like an afterthought in the design. Wine is overpriced for the quality.
