This is the place to go in Buffalo for milkshakes. My favorites are the dark chocolate Amaretto, I think it is called Amaretto midnight, and the vanilla peanut butter. The portions are rich and huge, so bring a friend to share.
Food is good (hard to mess up hotdogs and hamburgers) but the selection for milkshakes is crazy (in a good way). Lots to choose from. Can sit outside in rocking bench tables. Pretty cool.
Fun place for a hot dog or hamburger with all the trappings. Fun gliding outdoor tables to eat at. Great place for kids young and old. Good prices too.
Great Food. Variety on menu. Fast service even when busy. Don't the line of people ordering food turn you away as it moves quickly. Plenty of outdoor seating. Long time family business with consistent quality.
Went here with my two young kids a few weeks ago. The staff was great with them and my girls were so excited to eat on the "moving" table they ate all there food! Only downfall is they don't take credit cards and it was a bit pricey but over all great place! We will be back soon.
Old fashion fun and delicious food!
Wonderful food, exceptional milkshakes and love the staff! The swing tables are a nice touch as well! Love that they have a food truck now!
I love the idea of this place but it's super super pricey. I spent $35 for 2 milk shakes, an order of pizza longs and a fish sandwich. Their milk shakes are a great idea but still just average. So many flavors, but I still end up feeling like this could be better.
Pricey, but great American food, and a wide variety of milkshake flavors. It is popular to the locals, so the line can be long, so plan for 20 to 30 minutes before you get your food. Outdoor dining, with the rocking sliding tables. It is on a busy corner, but a must try if trying something new.
I remember this place being much better. We went for dinner yesterday and the burgers were not fresh. You could tell they were generic frozen patties. Also, the curly fries were mushy and absolutely soaked in grease. Very unappealing.
We did end the meal with milkshakes, however. Those were decent, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of just one.
We won't be back to Taffy's any time soon and that's disappointing to me.
