Easy to park and walk, signage to get started could be better, but go behind the back of visitors center and then follow the color of the map, they paint squares on the trees to follow. The old Mill and river is the real highlight, very beautiful any time of year. The red route by the Mill is quite challenging, as is the green or white route back up the hill away from the Mill, but there are benches to rest at if you need them. The visitors center is worth a quick look in too with some interesting history as well as a few local crafts on sale.

Lots of trails to explore. Really energizing trails that can be fun to maneuver (red trail) while providing view of wildlife. Can become a bit crowded, but if you find the right area you will have a peaceful hike. Lots of areas for picnicking along the lake. And of course there's the remains of the mill which are pretty neat.

The creek is beautiful. A great place to escape to when you've had too much city. My friend brought me here and I will definitely be going back. The trails are long and curvy with many hills. During sunset hours, it's the most amazing site to see the sun's rays beam through all the trees in the woods. You could capture some great photos.

Absolutely amazing time camping here. Literally had the best time of my life so far!! I highly recommend checking the trails out and if you are looking to camp, it's also very nice.except the fact that the camp sites are placed rather close to the road. You can hear the cars and see lights shine into your tent throughout the night. Other then that. It was a GREAT experience.

I love coming here! It is such a beautiful place. There is one area of the park to fish. Another to rent a paddle boat or canoe. The main area where I go is the hiking trails. Most know that this park was a filming spot for The Hunger Games. The area where the mill ruins are is truly beautiful and incredible to see that some of it still remains. The creek/river is quite picturesque with the elevation changes in the water creating little streams and mini waterfalls. I love coming here to hike with my dog and putting up my hammock to relax and enjoy the view.

Beautiful! Great work out. Its always wiser to buy an annual pass if this is something you'll do regularly; the annual GA Parks pass covers parking for the entire state of Georgia and is well worth it. I thinks either 40.00 or 50.00 a year. Stone Mountain offers on as well I think Stones is 50 and GA is 40

Great location for walkers and hikers, the bathrooms could be cleaner and more attended to especially in the winter since there really is no "off season" in the South, seems like they should be kept up all year round. And it is very hard to sometimes find a parking place when it is busy on the weekend. Well worth a visit and the hike for the great views and the ruins

Well worth the $5 park admission fee. There are a number trails from the Visitors Center and places to park the car and relax next to the lake. The ruins are only a 15 minute hike (on the red trail) or you can take the harder 45 minute walk (white trail). We really enjoyed our afternoon here.

Amazing park. There are 4 trails. One is 5 miles long that overlooks the Old Manchester ruins alongside a rushing river. Beautiful. Paddle board, kayaks, fishing, MUSEUM. The museum is a huge overlooked places to go in Lithia Springs and surrounding areas.

Great trails. Nice scenery. Need more directionals. Spray painting a tree doesnt clarify enough info, especially for people traveling from far that don't live in the area.

I love this park. Once you get past the red trail (where all the touristy people go to trash the place and be obnoxious) you get to the white and brown trails and then the real adventure begins. Beautiful park with many flora & fauna to discover. Creek crossings, rock walking, meadow, hills, steps, there's a challenge for everyone on this trail. Adding the brown trail puts you over 10 miles vs the 1 mile tourist trail. Check out the building. Games of Thrones anyone? Bring a bag to clean up after the people who have no clue, it's worth it to keep places like this alive.

Beautiful and fun. I just wish this whole place was in north Atlanta. The drive takes 45 min for me but after we spend a few hours here, it's totally worth it. Fun for the kids (esp during summer) further down the river where they can walk down the river on the rocks. You can lay out and/or swim during the summer. Fun for history or architectural buffs to see the remnants of the textile factory, which was used during the Civil War to make Confederate uniforms. Lots of shade under the canopy of the trees on the trails. Parking lot can get full during peak times. I haven't fished or boated in the lake, but it's huge and looks fun - we always see lots of people out there.
