Dr A and her staff have been incredibly responsive and flexible. She’s in high demand, and that’s for good reason - she’s the best at connecting and tailoring a care plan without treating you like a fast food order. I almost went into my first couple appointments thinking I needed to be quick and to the point, as to respect her time, but in response I got someone who took the time to actually get to know me and my life - and in return she’s earned a loyal patient that respects her beyond measure.
Needless to say, I have only had positive interactions with her and her staff at Sweetgrass, which has been a godsend…because that’s certainly not the industry norm.
Some people go to med school for the money, and some do it for the prestige, but all indications are that Dr A did it because it was a true calling and not just a nice paying job/profession. She cares about people, and you can’t fake that.

I am so impressed with how many quality providers this practice has. It’s hard to find compassionate psychiatrists with top notch training so I am relieved. I am also grateful they accept insurance. Thank you for providing compassionate care

Since I don't offer psychiatry I often have to refer out for services. Sweetgrass has been an amazing referral source for me and my clients. Now that they've changed their office staff, they are even more available to assist clients with their needs. Wonderful staff

So this review is for the office staff - not the provider that I saw.
For starters, I began my new patient request in November and was not seen until February. During that time, I barely communicated with the practice and struggled to get scheduled for my first appointment.
After our initial appointment, my personal therapist sent over a bunch of information on me that she has recorded over the past 2 years. She wanted to pass along information to support my diagnosis. When I met with the psychiatrist again, she had not received the information that my therapist had emailed, faxed or mailed. My therapist provided proof that she has sent information all 3 ways - so why did my provider never receive it? The office staff did not pass it along.
Flash forward to today. I’ve been trying to contact my provider for 11 days. My patient portal was never set up correctly, so that was not an option (due to the office staff not making me aware of consent forms, etc.) I have called 10+ times, send 16 texts and spent 11 days trying to contact my provider - and I ran out of medication 6 days ago. I called day after day but they do not answer the phone and only respond in texts. Half of the time they do not even respond to texts.
I made the staff aware that I could not message through the portal, yet they kept asking me to message her on there. They told me that they had “sent a request” almost a week ago, but nothing came of it and I was never given information of how to message her myself, until this afternoon (again - after 11 days). The texts I got said “I understand that you’re upset”, yet no matter how many times I asked to have my provider OR THE OFFICE call me, they did not.
I’ve heard excuse after excuse, (claiming they have new office staff, or people called out sick), as to why the office staff consistently is negligent but I am past the point of being understanding. I was out of medication for 6 (SIX) days due to the incompetence, negligence and misconduct of this office.
They are lucky that it was not a more serious medical condition that required medication or it could have ended much worse (a mental health episode, injury or death).
DO NOT go to the psychiatry office. They are uncaring and neglectful. I have made the medical board aware that because of this practice, I was forced to go 6 days without my mental health medication.response / report this review -

Dr. Albright and the staff at Sweetgrass have been and continue to be amazing. I have never experienced a more welcoming and loving place than this. The attention to detail, care and love that goes into the work they provide patients is unbeatable. With their help, I’ve been able to overcome many obstacles with confidence and clarity. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my mental health. It’s been the biggest blessing and I cannot thank you all enough!!
