Locally sourced cheese from their own dairy farm that is very responsibly operated making the cows very happy, and the cheese absolutely delicious! They also have regional beer and make their own honey!

Great craft beers and cocktails and good food. The burger is awesome and the cheese selection is ever-changing (save for the SGD staples). Nice selection of charcuterie and lots of fun retail to take home to make your own gourmet cheese boards come to life.

Absolutely love this place. Amazing food and service. Gluten free options beyond compare.
Service is spectacular, food is incredible and prices make this a must visit.
In addition to the beautiful inside they offer limited sidewalk seating. Nice atmosphere, cool vibe and overall a great experience.

What a cheese shop! I had heard stories about Sweet Grass for quite some time, but just hadn't taken the time to come up to Thomasville and see what all the buzz was about. Well, I'm glad I finally did! The decorations were cozy, for starters, and made the classic dairy look very high class. The "Taste of Thomasville" cheese platter which included Sweet Grass's own Green Hill brie, Asher Blue bleu cheese, a soft Thomasville Tomme, and their pimento was a great decision and kept us savoring every bite. I do wish the cheesecurds were a bit better, but I seem to have been spoiled growing up in Wisconsin. The service was also attentive and it was especially interesting to watch everyone work in the open kitchen. I will definitely be coming in here everytime I find myself in Thomasville!

This is a jewel of a restaurant in Thomasville, Georgia, they offer homemade gourmet cheese for purchase along with a wonderful selection of sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. A personal favorite is their white bean hummus with brussel sprouts & radishes, served with bruschetta. The bar has a good selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Located on the brick-paved Broad Street, there is outdoor seating available and the downtown has a variety of businesses for your shopping pleasure. Enjoy!

I'm sure I would have enjoyed the products they offer, but I never got a chance to try them. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon, only a couple of people in the store. Upon walking in, the two women behind the counter did not say hello but instead snarled and started openly talking about the way I looked, in a very negative way. I could hear every word they said and it blows my mind that they weren't aware of how loudly they were talking. I immediately walked out because I felt very unwelcome. It's a shame I wasn't able to eat here like I was planning because the staff was so rude.

LOVE this place to grab a drink and a snack, or even eat lunch/dinner. Fun atmosphere and wonderful food! Always a good beer selection, too.

Great place to eat with friends. A little nicer than casual. Amazing beer on tap and great cocktails. Cheese curds, white bean hummus, and fries are my favorite appetizers. Wing Wednesday was great.

What a treat! We had a delicious lunch and we loved the creative menu. We brought many of the cheeses home and they all are wonderful! It's well worth the trip.

Love! It's a cutesy quaint cheeseshop in the best part of downtown thomasville! but make sure you go early in the day/evening if you intend to eat. I went with a small group of friends around 9pm this past Saturday evening. There were 5 of us total, and we only came to drink and try the cheeses. The hostess at the front counter told us that we couldn't be served anything aside from beverages because "they ran out of food 'today,'" just as we noticed that other customers were being served food at the tables around us. The very last of the food, possibly? I suspect she didn't want to serve us because it was 9pm, an hour until closing time. This is the only subpar experience I've had there, however, so if you want to try it- just make sure you go early in the day/evening.

This place is one of the many gems in Thomasville! Cheese and wine if you'd or try a grass fed burger with pimento cheese and bacon jam. Out of this world and cute little place to get a bite when visiting Thomasville!

Get the pimento cheese burger. By far the best I've had since moving to the US a year ago. Oh yeah, their other food and drinks are a huge recommended as well 😉
