Services was good. food I thought it had not enough flavor. I had the pulled chicken.
Heard great things! Really looking forwardhowever very disappointed in the meatloaf. Overcooked and too dense. The garlic mashed and baked beans were very good. Just stick with the sandwiches, except the meatloaf!, and all else was pretty good!!
First time here to meet some friends. The food was delicious. Had the rib tips excellent. Nice, friendly service. Will be back..
I was very surprised when I got here. I didn't know the restaurant, only the sauce :P
After an amazing catering in my building that I was told was from here, I came and then came again!
Delicious!! Especially the burnt ends
Food was great. The service could have been a lot better. I had to keep asking for the same thing. They were nice, friendly, and polite but just not on top of it. The drink menu was limited and the drinks seemed very watered down.
The sauce was tasty as expected but there wasn't much special here.
The sandwiches weren't huge and you received one side for $9.
Overall, decent but I wouldn't say that it's must have BBQ.
Just came back from my first and last visit to that place. Would have given it 0 stars if I could. Restaurant was pretty empty - 2 more tables except us. With the type of service and the attitude of the manager would not surprise me if they are out of business soon. But i should have guessed it from the smell of an old building from the moment we walked in the hallway. The appetizer - Fried pickles was the best of the food we had. The three meat platter did not live up to expectations either. Ribs were dry and the end cuts were chewy too. The pooled pork was OK. Due to the poor treatment and the bad attitude we got from the manager after speaking with her we will definitely not go there ever again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. BG Avenue and Rose Garden Cafe which are up and down the street are way better in terms of food and service! Proceed on your own risk!
Fast service, good food, ample portions and reasonable prices.
Casual dinning for the entire family. I get my baby backs dry rub and add sauce as needed.
The soft drinks come in a glass large enough that you may not need a refill. The ribs are meaty but not fall off the bone type. Tasty but not as juicy and fatty as I prefer. But for a quick meal at this price they are still good.
This place was AWESOMEPORTION OF FOOD IS GREAT and the Drinks..were so goodwill go back before I leave Chicago
Food was very good and the waitress is the same girl we usually have. She's very nice and attentive to us.
Food was good, but they brought me the wrong side I asked for Garlic mashed and got Mac and Cheese, hostess brought me my Garlic mashed potatoes and they were cold, then she asked to take Mac and cheese and took it back towards the kitchen, where I am from that's not allowed once it's out of the kitchen it's, not to go back.
I had the 3 meat platter, St. Louis ribs, burnt ends, pulled pork.
Food was tasty but for the price I paid portions were small. $25 walked out feeling full but not for the price I paid.
For the price I paid they should have let me keep the Mac and cheese due to their mistake.
Would I visit again probably not, I could go to TGIFridays and eat endless appetizers for $10.
But wanted to try something different so I can say been here done that.
Semi regular customer. Always enjoy the food here. Regardless of what I buy. Service can take awhile when they're busy or for larger groups. They bring out all the meals together. I really love the burnt ends. I think they're better than the ribs.
Best Burnt Ends I've found in the Chicagoland Area. Green Chile Mac is Delicious(some days it's not as spicy).
Service is spotty especially when they busy. Always seem understaffed.
