Cool people, and awesome way to spend time on the river.
Always a great place to rent a canoe or kayak.
Great service and even better rates. They are very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable
We were serenaded with Foster songs before we were dropped off on a 3 hr peaceful river ride. We heard no banjos!
The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We took the four mile trip as a large group and it took us about 5 hours to get down river so o recommend the two mile trip, also there more for the last two miles that isn't limestone cliffs and coffee black water. At two miles there's a cold sulphur spring that former President Franklin Roosevelt used to visit. You can bring your kayak or rent one of their canoes. If your looking for something to do on a weekend that doesn't require a lot of effort but you can brag about on Monday this isn't a bad or expensive way to do it. Just bring plenty of hydration and sunblock.
Good place to just rent a canoe or kayak for a few hours very friendly people
Always have had good experiences here. Very in expensive to use boat ramp, plus they will even pick you up at another boat ramp to take you back to your car
Nice place to go to enjoy the outdoors. When there's not an event going on.
We had a group of about 16-20 people. Most got kayaks. a few used canoes. The waiver you sign seems to be mostly for the ride out to the river :). But it was probably the most fun part of the trip. The vans inside say tips accepted and if I had some cash I would have gave him like $20 for our Van load. It was like a roller coaster ride.lol
Life jackets are the standard orange ones. I brought my own. The seat on my kayah wasn't great bc the back didn't come up high enough. This may not be the best river to learn on bc of the current and its deep with few places to get back in your boat b/c the banks are steep.
Great Outpost for renting canoes and kayaks. Trips to the launch points are an adventure.
