Sushi was great but the 'reservations only' thing doesn't seem necessary. We got a reservation last minute for 5pm (when they open) because someone cancelled at the last minute. Place was empty the whole hour we were there. We had been told on multiple occasions they can't seat us without a reservation but the place was literally empty for the first hour. I'm not really sure why they follow that policy. Maybe they expect people to stay a long time (more than an hour).

Way overpriced for very mediocre sushi. I was swayed by a Yelp review and will not visit again. There are much better sushi options in and around Atlanta for much better prices.

This is a pricey place because they use the best ingredients and have the most knowledgeable and well trained staff around. The food is beyond comparison as the Sushi God's have blessed the little old Man behind the counter with nothing short of pure oneness with his craft. Once a month I drop $100 on myself and don't feel one damn bit guilty about such an indulgence.

Fish is of fantastic quality. Everything is very fresh and the fish melt in your mouth. It is pricy but well worth it! This place leaves you wanting more because it is so good. The sushi chef visits your table personally and the staff makes sure you're well taken care of. Definitely pick the chef's choice. You want be disappointed!

Awesome food. Pork belly had such amazing flavor, and the box mackerel was a delicious roll I've never had before. The dining room is small but very comfortable so the capacity is low - we had to make a reservation, but it was well worth it as the staff is very attentive and kind. Can't wait to go back.

OMG! This place was amazing. Some of the best sushi I have ever had ever period. There's a reason this is one if not the best sushi place in the metro area. Normally, I would have taken pictures of the great decor and the immaculately prepared food but seeing the signs saying no phones and just enjoy the food, I decided to heed these suggestions and instead enjoyed an incredible meal. O! As a note, make sure you place a reservation. Luckily, for my friend and myself they still let us in despite no reservation and boy am I glad they did.I will say this, this is the most I have ever paid for a a sushi meal, but if I could get sushi that tasted that great for cheaper it would be a steal.

My meal consisted of a 5 piece nigiri omakase, a salmon roll and I paired it with a glass of hot green tea as well as a glass of a very smooth, and fruity sake. This amounted to ~$80 but results vary as the chef choice ranges in price depending on what's available.

The highlight of the nigiri was the sea urchin, which was imported straight from Japan. It was incredible. Normally, I find the stuff scary looking, slimey and not appealing, but trying this here was one of the best sushi pieces I've ever had.

TL:DR; Excellent service, amazing food, fairly expensive, but something that must be experienced

The fish and octopus was buttery tender and the rice was perfect in the nigiri. Sat at the sushi bar, Chef Hayakawa was very friendly and passionate about the food he serves.

One of the best sushi in Atlanta, and the exclusivity to go with it. I cannot write enough about this place without telling you to experience it yourself.

Amazing chef and the best sushi we have ever experienced. It is pricey but worth it. Fantastic atmosphere. No children under 12 so make it a date night if you have younger kids. We saw two families with younger teens while dining so the earlier reviews indicating they aren't family friendly are sour grapes over the restaurant's age policy. Would gladly come again and highly recommended.
