A good place for small groups where everyone can find something on the menu. Great sushi, burgers, ramen, pad thai and appetizers. One nice surprise is they have amazing grilled octopus.

Really horrible experience. Server was incredibly inattentive- saw him maybe 2 times during our meal. The Good morning Vietnam roll had old chewy tuna on the top. The Maui Wowie was the same, old fishy taste and the texture was rubber like as well. Our of the 5 items we ordered two of them were completely inedible. Really disappointing to see a local staple go so downhill.

Walked in and was seated right away. Server was friendly and courteous. Ordered the tonkatsu ramen and Japanese green tea. Everything tasted good. It was a lot of ramen and tea for one person, but no complaints on that. I asked for the kimchi to come on the side and it came in the bowl. Server was kind enough to ask if I wanted it fixed but it wasn't that big of deal. Only reason why I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's a bit pricey here and my server took awhile to come back after I got my check.

I took my wife you're on your honeymoon for her first time having sushi, she loved it! Great experience for both of us, great service from Giovanni, and great food!

I make my best attempt to understand that some experiences aren't as up to par because of certain circumstances, but I feel like ours was no exception. We ordered a to go order of 3 hand rolls off the lunch special and one regular special roll, the Hustler. It still took over half an hour for them to make the order even after witnessing that we were the only ones waiting on an order at the time. I understand that sushi craft typically can be time consuming, but for what little we ordered, it just seemed like there was no concept of time. Not only that, but we were charged the $10 on the hand rolls instead of the $5. I understand that we all make mistakes, so this was not a big deal, but even after the mistake was corrected, they charged us for sauces that we requested and didn't provide them. Considering the Hustler roll we ordered was $17, I was hoping the overall outcome would be satisfying, but the roll looked like it was literally tossed in the box, and horribly cut. I understand that you are compromising plate presentation when ordering carry out, but I felt cheated paying so much for a roll that was a mess. I was so thrilled to have my first experience with Sushi Blue, but surprised and bummed of the whole situation.

Broth for ramen was not all that. also the "rad"Thai was very salty. Hand rolls were great. Chicken wings were awesome!!! Had the Japanese wings

I wasn't expecting great sushi out here in the middle of the country, but this place proved me wrong! The sushi tasted fresh and was well prepared. The sake (salmon) collar was super good also, and a great deal since it comes with a salad! My wife enjoyed the Pad Thai.

This place has really good Sushi, and that is the only thing they should stick to.
We ordered a little bit of everything to give it a try but we were very disappointed. The Mushroom Raman did not have a taste at all. I could only eat it after adding some soy sauce and Sriracha. The wings are overcooked and dry.
Service on the other hand is really nice. Very friendly staff and willing to help.response / report this review -

Everyone was very nice, staff was great. However the amount of food you get for a $16 roll is half of what you get in a normal sushi resturaunt. 3 rolls normally fill my husband and I up. The flavor was nothing exceptional, pretty bland, and the rice wasn't cooked correctly either.
Tiny portions at double the price of regular sushi with not enough flavor or wow factor to compensate for the price.
I have never left a sushi restaurant after 3 rolls with miso soup and still been hungry.response / report this review
