This is not a review planning a trip to the area Reading the reviews I see the owner replied to the positive reviews but not the negative one's My question is why? P.S. I grew up in the area and have been there on more than one occasion.

We had a great time! Perfect for our 4 and 5 year olds and convenient for us. The pool area and hotel were very clean. The room was very nice and comfortable. Staff in both areas were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the food was kept hot. Price was fair and you can get a discount signing up with rewards through Marriott. We will definitely be returning for frequent overnight mini-vacations as we live only 2 hours away.

This place was horrible. It was disgusting inside and the employee were rude and unhelpful. Additionally, they are extremely over priced. I would recommend saving yourself the trouble and never visiting.

It's a small getaway. Not a ton of things to do but it's close to home and buy one get one helps. Nice to do while it's cold. Could use some expansion for older kids

Great night of sleep! We stayed a Sunday and Monday night so the pool was empty which was great for my 4 year old. The pool was hot! Breakfast was top notch- waffles, omelettes, fresh cut fruit. It was definitely worth the money spent.

The kids had a blast in the water park, my youngest had a small issue with her skin sensitivity due to the large amount of chlorine in the water. The "staff" of lifeguards seemed absolutely miserable leaning against the pylons not watching the water at all. As a former lifeguard their behavior and professionalism was abhorrent. Only one out of the three on the floor actually watched the water at all. As for my stay at the hotel everything was clean and comfortable but the other guests seemed to stay up till 0400hrs running up and down the halls above us.

Good times. I am not sure what all the poor ratings are for? Complaining about the price, and staff, water temperature, and cleanliness. It all fine. In fact I think it is quite a good value, and the staff was right there keeping order (not yelling) . I wish they did yell at some people that have no common sense. This lady was swimming the the lazy river against the current for exercise right in the way of everyone.
Some other kids were trying to climb up the slide tubes when they were off etc. The place was clean. Water temp was nice and warm. The only thing I would suggest is they improve lighting. We went on an overcast day and the place is quite dark inside. Why not put in a couple more windows and or a few lights. It would make it look a lot nicer in there. We have a 2½ year old and he was a little scared with all the noise and the huge water dumping every minute or so over the play area. But it was his first experience so it's no big deal. There were younger kids and they seem to be fine so it depends on your child. We will go back I am sure when my son is a little older I am sure.

We booked a birthday party for our daughters 9th birthday party here, yesterday.

The kids had a blast but the staff was AWFUL. AWFUL AWFUL.
There was one gentleman lifeguard who was actually doing his job, named Hayden- everyone else was texting non stop and not even watching the kids. "I hate my job and want everyone to know".
One girl was asked why she looked so unhappy, she replied with a single word, "bored".

We booked a 3:00-6:30pm, and they tried telling us to leave at 5:45.
I asked for forks for the birthday cake, and I got sighed at and was asked, "why?"
None of the restrooms had soap, which was gross.

    Thank you again, Hayden.

The hotel is great! The water park is a different story. Its over 100 degrees in the water park, so you cannot breathe. The water park staff was not very nice. If you need a place to stay that hotel is great but don't bother visiting the water park.

This place is SO bad. The rooms are nice. The park, not so much. Boring. Dirty. Over-crowded. Food is TERRIBLE, and takes forever. Seems like it's being run by a bunch of kids. My son and i had to go outside for "oxygen breaks", had headaches and trouble breathing, and could smell chlorine for days after our visit. NEVER again. One star is too many 😑

Needed a way for the kids to rid themselves of winter energy. Chose this place. The water park is small but fun. I would have given 5 stars but it is to chaotic. Being small, if the hotel is full which it was, it was just insane. My kids were getting pushed around, the lazy river was taken over like a traffic jam of crazy kids without supervision. Staying in the hotel was like listening to a never ending stomping children's birthday party. The staff however are super friendly and do everything they can to help. Wish there was a way to have less crowds.
