A little over a year ago my friend got me a job here. I've never worked at a hotel but have stayed at plenty my first day I was extremely impressed with how clean it was. The whole staff was was very friendly and welcoming I felt like I was at home. The housekeeping staff is exceptional they take pride in their work and insure that every room is fresh and clean. Now here it is a year later and I can honestly say this is the cleanest hotel you will ever find. This is all because of an amazing man, my boss, the Manager Dan. He goes above and beyond to make sure that the guest are happy and feel at home. If they need something and we don't have it he will go get it. He wants every guest to not only be happy and enjoy their stay with us but to want to come back again. He Greets every guest and wants them to feel at home. He makes sure that the entire hotel is clean and that everything works properly. I have grown to look up and respect him. He's probably the best Manager any hotel could have. He really cares about not only the guest but his staff and the hotel. This is one hotel that I would recommend.

THIS IS NOW AmericINN. A GREAT PLACE. CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE FOR THIS AREA. THE VIEW OF LITTLE TRAVERSE BAY IS GREAT. SUPER NICE STAFF. NEWLY RENOVATED AND DECORATED. WE HAVE STAYED AT OTHER HOTEL/ MOTELS IN THE AREA, YOU CAN'T BEAT THE QUALITY OR THE PRICE. IT IS SO CLEAN & FRESH. A HOME AWAY FROM HOME. SHAUNA, HOT TUB, & POOL OPEN 24 HOURS.

Very roomy. They have an indoor pool, very chlorinated so don't swim without goggles. And a very got, hot tub. The maids are really nice.

Loved the breakfast! Hotel was just bought by Americ Inn so they are in the process of remodeling but I hope they add an elevator.

Great price, super comfortable beds and pillows, great breakfast, pool, nice, quite and relaxing, plus right across from a beautiful park by the water. Great for kids and adults.

The room was simple and clean, the towels and sheets smelled pleasant, and the employee at the front desk was very friendly. The pool is pretty warm and the hot tub is large and clean. The beds were firm, but not too hard, overall very comfortable. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Just great as usual. A fellow traveler who was on the road a lot with a job said this Super 8 was by far the best maintained of any he had stayed at. Dan (manager) really likes to see you have a good experience! That is why we keep coming back.
