Not bad for the price, Johnstown is dying actually it's dead and probably beyond help Since I called the Johnstown police to check my house before I came up (it was closed up for 3 years the officer said it was intact but somehow didn't see the window tat was removed like I saw in the dark) don't move here unless you plan on buying the whole town And bulldoze it all! So anyway , I had to find a room for the night because the house I own and was sealed up had been broken into! I didn't want to deal with it later at night so here I am the Super 8, I looked into a room downtown but it was a dump this place will do and it's no in Johnstown it's in Richland Twsp a much nicer area!

Just checked in and out in about 15-20 minutes time. I'm itching.this place seriously needs to be closed down. Found a chunk of SKIN in the bed, a BOOG on the pillow, stains on mattress cover (wonder what is under the thin nylon zipped mattress cover). I would NOT recommend the super 8 in Johnstown PA to ANYBODY !!! NASTY DIRTY GROSS.

At first I was very worried about staying at a Super8. This Super8 is so clean when I went to Holiday Inn in Hampton and they told me I did not want to stay at Super 8. I went to Super8 because I did not have a major credit card and which all the other hotels policy is calling for. So I went to Super8. I was very surprised. They accepted dogs. The place was immaculate as far as being clean. Newly renovated. This is a great place to stay. And it's cheaper than the other hotels.

The location is super convenient. Right off of the exit ramp. The rooms were simple, but clean. "Cost effective" doesn't mean "cheap" here. Only 4 stars because we had connecting rooms to a veryloudcouple next door.

BED BUGS!!!!!HORRIFIC!!!! Stayed here some years ago and the bed sheets were filled with DEAD BED BUGS. We were moving into the town so we didn't have anywhere else to go that night- only stayed one night. We were moved to three rooms total for the BED BUG PROBLEM. On the third room @ 3 am, we finally got to bed and woke up to FIND A BED BUG CRAWLING ON THE WALL BY THE TV!!!!!!!!!!! All the front desk person said was (word for word), "oh yea, we've had bed bug problems before". DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!!!!!

    1) Super hard beds. 2) dirty AC/heater units so you can't use them or you're eating debris. 3) shower creeks & sounds like you're going to fall thru the floor. 4) you can hear everyone walking around. 5) Crappy location 6) looks dirty as soon as you walk thru the door 7) doors are kept unlocked, not the safest.

Dont be cheap - spend the extra $40 and stay somewhere else -- it really is THAT bad.

The employees were super kind and the bed was crazy cozy but our tub was disconcertingly creaky. Will definitely stay here in the future! Perfect for the price!

Small, dated rooms. Beds were harder than the floor. Walls and bathrooms very dirty. And seriously, if you're going to offer a waffle maker as part of your free breakfast, get sugar free syrup for your diabetic guests. Really great way for me to finish out my stay, watching everybody eat hot fresh blueberry waffles while I get Raisin Bran.

GO SOME PLACE ELSE! This place has bed bugs!..THEY KNOW IT BUT DON'T CARE! This hotel is also a know drug hotel and prostitution rings have broken up inside by the police! Check WJAC(local TV station),the Richland Township Police or ask any locals to verify stories! It's known in the area as a nucense hotel! GO SOME PLACE ELSE!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The woman who checked us in saw I was on crutches and when asking if a 3rd floor room was OK, she was completely willing to see if a first floor room was available instead. The room was clean and coffee is always available.

Fuckall place. Bed full of bugs. Unclean and unchanged bedsheets for years. Not even the comforter was washed for years. Got SKIN RASHES AND BRUISES all over the body. No maintenance of the room. Food-spill and hairs everywhere in the room. Highly recommended not to stay even if no other option available. You can have a better sleep and stay in your own car rather than staying in such a cheap and frugal motel. 0 star rating!!

I would never sleep in one of these hotels again so completely unhappy. And only stayed because everywhere else was booked well in advance for to amajor event in the area. Our sheets were dirty when we arrived and have yet to be changed we had not know or seen the notice of going "green" or better called cheap. Requested a change today but didn't get so I asked the front desk and they said the cleaning lady left early sick. So then why not have someone else finish? The bed is like sleeping on a board and it caves towards the middle. My husband and I have woke with a sore back every day. There is like one outlet to plug anything in. The walls are paper thin and can completely hear the neighbors. The ac did not working properly. Do not stay here! Way over priced for crappy room!
