Great place to relax, get healthy and reconnect to nature.
Food is good in the restaurant, home cooked no fast food.
I was a child at the time .been back awsome place brother and I howard&Gilbert witchel..i and my brother remember Hugo and erna .both were good people also rich
I used to really like this place, people there are nice, and the place is pretty laid back. I used to attend the Winter Festival, but unfortunately I always struggled with how unorganized the staff is. Just a couple are decent, but for the most part they are very rude. I recently had a situation in which led me to call it quits with this place. Luckily there are many other places around that are more prepared and professional.
This nudist resort is very rustic. No paved streets, extremely vegetarian, no cold drink or candy machines as the major owner will not allow them as they are unhealthy. Nudity is required in most areas and smoking is only allowed in remote areas. The hot tub and swimming pool is the highlight of the resort. During February, the Mid Winter Festival is the major function of the year that caters to all ages. There are youth camps and young adult activities during the year and everyone is welcome. Diversity and acceptance of all people, races and genders including single males are welcomed with the understanding that this is a family style area and you would do nothing here inappropriate. It gets very quiet during the summer months allowing a restful and relaxing day or full vacation. I would suggest if you are not vegan that you bring and prepare your own meat dishes. Also they do not serve alcohol or cold drinks so bring your own. The restaurant is very small and not always open so be ready to go to the restaurants and stores a few miles away or do your own cooking. The drum circle on the weekend is a special activity that has been ongoing for years and while it is basically a pagan activity, all religious groups are welcome and encouraged to attend this function and all other activities. The hot tub has been a major gathering spot and available all day and night and the sauna is really nice to cap off the day.
The Pool was great! Grounds are kept nicely. However, it is VERY rustic and there seems to be no restrictions on age and condition of Trailers allowed on the property. No nightlife other than some weekends. If you are looking for a quiet, rustic place, this may be for you.
My wife, daughter (toddler) and myself decided to try Sunsport and we are in LOVE with this place!!! First Friday of each month after 5pm, the host drum circle and wave the entry fees The drum circle is AMAZING!!! The vibe is so free and organic Our daughter is 2 years old and enjoyed dancing around the bonfire pit and we sat on on blankets next to a single mom with 2 kids under 9 years old Never a feeling of fear or discomfort Everyone so respectful The place is clean The amenities are great So much included in the membership The cafe is great with good food and great atmosphere WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!
Really great cloths free resort. Great pool, restaurant and trails. Could be improved nut generally a very nice place. Good people and we'll run. Very much worth a try.
Been a member for several years. Got a permanent lot with RV over a year ago. This is my happy place.
Would of given it a 2 star because of all the complainers ,but the people that live there are pretty nice ,food is good, restrooms are clean but not ideal for younger people that are looking to go out and party all night ,curfew is at 11pm on weekends and all the complainers there know that so no noise after 11 or you get a warning ,one step from becoming a retirement home if you ask me
It's a cafe in a nudist resort. Quality changes every visit.
Life-expanding experience! I've lived here in a tent perfectly content for 4 years. There's well maintained facilities and rustic luxuries for simple, natural, naked recreation. I regularly walk the network of nature trails, but the hot-tub and sauna are my favorites too. The pool is solar-heated and the ownership promotes ecological permaculture and progressive virtues. There's daily volleyball and petaunqe and tennis games as well as weekly potluck and other social events all winter. In the summer it's much quieter, in case that's your preference. Check the bulletin boards around the grounds for events. Introduce yourself if you see me! :-)
This place is so peaceful. It's a very calm and welcoming environment, with a sauna and an outdoor hottub and pool. There is also a nature trail, tennis courts, and probably a few other amenities I'm forgetting. Tent camping is a little more pricey than your average campground, but I think it's worth it due to the well-maintained facilities they offer. They always have events and workshops going on. Even if you just want a place where you can comfortably take your clothes off, this is the place to go.
Very beautiful place. Clean pool. Nice people. We loved the nature paths.
