Love the views! Great for family getaways with plenty of room!
Great family vacation spot. Owners are great and it has a nice location on Hamlin lake.
Overall our experience was very pleasant.
We stayed in the Sunset Cabin near the office.
The cabin itself is rather dark inside, especially the downstairs bedroom.
The largest beds were full size and at least a queen size would have made two person sleeping much more comfortable (kind of important for enjoying a vacation.) The bottom sheets elastic was worn and I kept waking up (nightly from discomfort) and found myself laying on top of the mattress.
Other than that, we had a great time.
Well managed and maintained in a picturesque location. Definitely not an old fashioned fishing camp. Swimming pool. Cottages are spaced well apart, some below, others high on the bluff. Various sizes accommodation.
I love going here I have been going to sunset bluff resort for 9th year this year actually going tomorrow
Rented a pontoon here for 4th of July weekend. I can not say enough great things about our experience. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The resort grounds are amazing, organized and the view of the lake is incredible. Will be returning here in the future.
Went here with my church home group of 4 couples. We rented the Indian Princess Lodge which was comfortable and clean. The resort grounds were well-kept with beautiful flower beds neatly place around the grounds. Lots of places to hike and walk - no matter your fitness level. Ludington attractions just a 15 minute drive away - close enough to do but far enough away to make this a very reasonable place to stay. Great place to take families. We also rented a pontoon - very nice.
Grew up here!! Love it!
My mother and I have been going to this resort now for 15 years. I started going there when I was 20 and we have gone off and on with my wife and kids or alone depending on the circumstance. It is run by a family with the assistance of a gentleman and his wife who live in a small trailer on the premises. Very family oriented. The cabins are nice and homey and occasionally we are able to get some fresh salmon that vacationers have caught in Lake Michigan.
There is a fire pit and free firewood so we make s'mores most nights. Canoes, kayaks, rowboats, outboard fishing boats and pontoon boats can be rented. Pool and other playground equipment also available.
Planning on going back next year.
