Dr Johnson is wonderful with my dog who hates the vet and people checking his body. She stats down on the floor with him always trying to gain his trust. Always takes her time with me on our appts too. Never feel rushed.

Great care by Vet Docs but front office staff tends to put caller on hold a lot. Also hear them upselling to new pet owners. Hard to get appts. They need more help. Front desk .

Great staff helpful and friendly, Dr. Ashworth and Dr. Johnson are outstanding Doctors my puppies see both of them and they care deeply for my babies as they would there own pets, I have and would recommend Sun City to anyone.

We have been taking our fur babies to Maria for grooming for quite a while so when my poodle had a litter and one of the tiny puppys began to have problems, I called the hospital for an urgent appointment. I was so surprised when after explaining the symptoms and relaying my fear that this puppy was in trouble, the vet's assistant talked me through what to do over the phone instead of me taking the puppy away from its mother and siblings and into the hospital. She not only correctly diagnosed the problem and what likely caused it, she called back several times throughout the day to monitor the situation, all free of charge. This is a place that cares sincerely about animals and their owners. I do not trust the care of my pets to anyone else. These people are the best, and our fur babies deserve the nothing less.

They were extremely helpful and patient when caring for my sick cat. The are also quite helpful at caring for sad people who are upset because their animals are sick. Pricing is reasonable. Doctor is helpful and attentive overall a wonderful place to entrust your furry children.

We've used S.C. Animal H. for about 7 years and have never left thinking, "Well, that bill didn't hurt too much"
The medical staff are great but their receptionists have no problem asking you to hold for 15 to 20+ minutes.

We're looking elsewhere.

Being new to Arizona, I researched five different veterinarians in the area before I decided to bring my cat to Sun City Animal Hospital. They were by far they nicest, yet still most professional, and their facilities are second to none. I just returned from taking my cat on our first visit to see Dr. Roe, and I couldn't be more pleased. My cat appreciated the cat only waiting room and the friendly handlers. I appreciated speaking with intelligent, caring, up-to-date staff. My cat and I have found our perfect long term vet.

I am most pleased with the services and PAWS plan offered at Sun City Animal Hospital. Dr Ashworth is a great vet and my Nina is lucky to have found her. My girl has had gastrointestinal problems ever since bringing her home from the breeder. After prescribing the right diet and adding macrobiotics Nina and I can finally get a full nights sleep. This office provides reasonably priced services in comparison to many others in the valley. The office is extremely clean and staff professional and caring. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I wish to thank all the staff again.

I used to love this place, there weren't enough good things to say about Dr. Johnson and Dr. McAlister. Dr. Roe is a different story though--absolutely no bedside manner and won't hesitate to talk down to you and make you feel like a horrible pet owner if you don't do things her way. I used go out of my way to bring my pets here but those days are long gone.
