I took my senior female Chihuahua mix, Torrie, in for the first time, for a wellness check and a rabies vax. The office had evening appointments available. The techs/admin at the front desk made us feel welcome. Tor isn't a fearful dog who needs a lot of encouragement to handle dr visits, but at the very least, she was rewarded with visiting the vet by getting a treat and some lovin' from the care team. Vitals were taken by a tech, who was gentle and friendly, and in and out in the blink of an eye. The doctor gave Tor the rabies vax quickly, and took some time to answer a few questions I had about general dog health and some specifics regarding Tor's weight and her exercise regimen. I paid only $55. This will be our regular vet.
I live in Buckeye, Az. And we travel clear across town for the excellent service we receive. The staff members are very sympathetic, courteous and real. I love the Dr. He is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and takes time with his patients. He is Genuine, his actions show he's all for your fur babies.
I trust no one else with my pet care. From the time you enter the front door you're treated with care and respect. The staff is excellent;
animal owners themselves. I drive from Peoria to see Dr Watson. I trust him! I can't see any truth is the negative reviews. These people go out of their way to care for you and your pets!
So pleased with the quick response to my pets medical needs. The Staff is so very kind and follow up is heartwarming and reassuring, even when results may be sad.
Dr Watson and his staff are amazing. I had to let my beloved kitty of 17 years go to kitty heaven today. The staff was very attentive and respectful. They had a room ready for us, so we did not have to sit in the lobby. The entire process was explained and they gave us time to say good bye. They made a sad time just a little brighter. I am grateful for their kindness. It is a great place to take our loved pets.
good quality service, very friendly and helpful stuff, highly recommended vet
I have been going to AHL since it opened Dr Watson and all his staff are very caring and professional always follow up with a call just to check everything is ok. I highly recommend this practice . Bailey loves you all too xx
NEVER EVER GO HERE! The vet is an absolute joke. My poor baby was dying and he was cracking onscene jokes while my fiancé and I are crying and trying to comfort out dog. He had zero respect and they only cared about money. The vet and the nurse were taking forever to get us information and ran our card three different times. They refused to do anything to help my poor dog who was in a lot of pain without running my card three times!! My dog also already had passed away on the table and they still completed the euthanasia when it wasn't necessary. I told them not to and they explicitly ignored me. It's traumatic losing a family friend.. go somewhere that cares about animals and won't think you're stupid for asking for a ceramic paw print. Most vets provide this and Animal Hospital of Laveen basically called is stupid for it. If you're looking for an amazing animal hospital I suggest Dobson Animal Hospital in Mesa. They're great.
I took my dog there for a bite from another dog, he had an open womb and the doctor told me that he needed stitches and medication the bill was $500. I told them i didnt have that kind of money so they charged me $200 for medication and bandage. they wanted me to go every 5 days to repandage him and $20 bucks. I went to my vet they charged me 80$ for everything the visit, stitches , and bandage wrap. I understand its a hospital but why charge double the price?
I went to the Animal Hospital of Laveen because my regular vet wouldn't squeeze me in. My dog had severe swelling in her face and Dr. Watson was very good with her. Unfortunately she has a terminal cancer but our treatment by the staff and doctor was very good and we will take our other animals to Dr. Watson from now on. I am very pleased with the care and concern they have for there patients.
Horrible service. They didn't know what was wrong with our dog, they told us that her case was going to be a project. Neglected us while we were needing the paperwork to sign. Before we had left. While he did that, he went straight to another patient. I get it he's the only doctor in the "hospital" but still, kinda rude Also, they bandaged our dog improperly. Took our dog home, and we found out that they didn't do a good job in wrapping her leg. Never going to this place ever again.
-Great Technician and Great Front Desk Service
-Horrible Doctor Service!
Doctor: "He is not dehydrated"
Me: "Oh, how do you know that?"
Doctor: "HA, because I went to school"
The doctor has some self confidence problems or was having a bad day, either way. I would not suggest this place due to its Doctor's inability to communicate in an appropriate way.
Not only is it so convenient that they're close by in case of any emergency but they have AMAZING staff. They'd help me with not just one pet but multiple and their service is always the same. I'll continue to be a loyal customer.
We recently acquired a rescue who showed up on our front porch. After waiting through animal control for the proper waiting time to see if the dog was spoken for, we adopted her. We have read many good reviews on Animal Hospital of Laveen and took our new addition to be checked out. We found the office to be very clean, the staff very friendly and the vets very professional. Prices were much more reasonable than our previous vet and we are glad to have made the change.
Dr. Watson and his team are amazing!! I take both of my dogs to him and he never tries to up sell or add additional costs that are not necessary. He is very reasonable with his prices and truly cares for the health and well being of your pets. He is very thorough and explains all of his recommendations for care. I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a vet for life!
