Great little spot to enjoy lunch from Bortell's and go searching for rocks on the beach. Nice views of Lake Michigan and Little Point Sable to the south. There are several picnic tables, but you may have to share. The pirate play set is good for kids, and there is a single tennis court.

Parking is usually fine. Beach access is very dependent on lake levels.

Good beach to stop by when you have a pet. Over the years the beach has been getting smaller here though unfortunately and becoming more rocky as well. Facilities are decent just not great. Playground is nice for the kids with a nice field to play other sports on.

Beautiful "out of the way" lil park on lake Michigan. It has a playground and a tennis (?) court. It is well maintained and has picnic tables..

If you want to have any type of special event, do not do it here. My wedding day was ruined, they were late opening up the doors, and the electricity flickered at my ceremony and was out the whole time. No one ever bothered to get it fixed. I was offered a new location after my wedding was over. Go anywhere else but here. I highly recommend all the other parks.
