  We decided on a last minute trip. We had trouble fining rooms with it being a holiday weekend. Joan at Sugar Mountain Lodging was very helpful and wonderdul to work with. She lead us to a wonderful unit at Skyleaf. The unit was very clean, stocked and fit all our needs. We will definitely book again in the future!!!!

  This is a family owned business.
  We have used their service for many years. They do their best to accomodate their renters to their situation.
  We heard they were adding online booking which is fantastic and more convenient for us and our friends. I know during certain seasons they offer great specials.
  
  We like Sugar Mountain Lodging for their personal touch of knowing us and what we like when making our visits!

  Beware of Sugar Mountain Lodging. We rented a vacation condo on January 19, 2011 in Banner Elk, NC and when we arrived they changed us to an inferior unit and claimed by the contract they can swith our units. The unit was ice cold and took 48 hours for the heat to kick in. Nothing worked. Many lightbulbs were not working. The dishes were dirty, scratchy cheap hotel towels. No paper towels or napkins and 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 bathrooms.
  Beware of this rip off company.
  We should have know when they do not take credit cards!
