The steak was not seasoned at all. It was also under cooked. I sent it back and it came back still under cooked. I also never even got a refill the whole time being there. The waitress did have a really good personality and was sweet. Overall I would not want to go back.

I had wings and fried pickles for dinner. both were excellent. Tried their seasonal Octoberfest and discovered it was my new favorite craft beer there. Nice friendly people, great wait staff, and really good food and brews. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic dinner tonight. Had the red Irish ale. The steak wrap with portabelllos was fantastic. No complaints whatsoever. Proprietor Greg Bailey came by for a chat and that was nice.

I didn't expect to find a brewpub in St. Paul, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this one. Great beer selections and lots of good food on the menu. Highly reccommended.

Sugar Hill, Sugar Hill What else can I say but "YES!" I'm so happy that this business exists here. Their brews are top notch and the food is just as good. Come thirsty and with an appetite. Pimento cheese balls are the best.

My first trip here, the food was great, and the wine, amazing! (The server's personality, was about as personable as a wet dish cloth, however). My second trip, the hostess, was a clueless nitwit, I honestly have no clue why she was even there. When she was asked for a high chair, she merely pointed to where they were, when checking out, she stared at me with a deer in headlights expression, and told me that I could put my card with the check on the table and my server would come get it. I mean seriously what was her purpose? The full Moo appetizer the chips were cold, it was as if they had been sitting since lunch time. The server, though as friendly and as kind as could be, was far too over stretched for her capabilities, I asked three times for a to-go box, and by the fourth time, she seemed more interested in her phone than my request. Needless to say, my second visit was certainly subpar.

We have been a few times now, I have tried the burger, fish tacos, and chicken and waffles. everything was good. The burger was a bit dry and the chicken was not seasoned so it was bland for my taste. The menu was limited, wish there was a little more choice in appatisers. Still, it's a good change of pace from other restraints in the area. The booths and chairs are uncomfortable, the booths are crampt and I always feel like I'm going to slide out of the chairs. Can also get loud when they are busy. Even with all the negatives, I would still give it 4 stars.

Very tasty beers, wee heavy was a true stand out. Very casual, talked with one of the owners and the head brewer at the bar, very friendly.

    Wished I lived closer.

If I could pick zero stars I would. We came to St. Paul on a normal weekend with no special events. There aren't a ton of ATV or SxS guys staying in town so no excuses there. We weren't seated for over an hour which was not acceptable. Once seated it was another hour before we received our stone cold food. The brats were hard as a brick, potatoes were runny and cold, and Mac n cheese tasted like some pre mix kids meal. The beer is great. The waitress started out with an attitude, however she turned things around. The pretzels were fantastic but that was it. Maybe we will try again but the first experience was completely unacceptable.

If zero stars were an option, it would be my review. They were out of everything I ordered, but not when I had to change my order 3 times, but after my alternate order were made. The owners were there and told me their steak were the best, my husband and I ordered them.you guessed itthey only had 1 steak left. When it was brought to the table, it was beef jerky at best. The husband owner was sitting on the bar when I finally had enough when the bill came and charges us for everything we ordered and never received..
Just don't put yourself through the process of getting involved with this place. It would be better to go to the worst place ever to eat and it try to give this place some of their recipes.
