3 haircuts recently, my kids with Kim V and me with Joanna. All 3 cuts were great. The colorists and stylists at Suede are awesome.

1st visit to this salon. Went here because of the reviews. It was a 50 minute drive each way, which I didn't mind but I did not like the service and was not happy with my hair either.
When I first got there I waited in line, then I gave my name to the receptionist and she didn't know who my stylist was and asked me who I was seeing. I had one girl coloring my hair and one girl cutting it. So I gave her the two names, thank goodness I put that down in my calendar when I booked the appt. I was told to have a seat. The girls were very unprofessional behind the desk. Talking back-and-forth about their personal lives in front of the customers. I waited a good 20 minutes, finally someone came and took me back but then I sat there for another 10 minutes before my stylist came. When she finally came, she treated me like a number. I had a consultation scheduled before my appt, so I could talk to her and show her a picture of what I wanted. She looked quickly at the picture and then starting doing my hair. I told her I wanted my hair a very light icy blonde, no gold or brass. My hair turned out horrible! My roots were orange and my hair was gold. I was so disappointed! I spent over $200 for it and it looked like a bad at home bleach job. When I told her my roots looked brassy and my hair looked gold, she said next time we will leave it on longer. What????? Next time? The girl that cut my hair was very nice and did a great job with the cut, but the colorist and receptionist area were horrible! I will not be going back!response / report this review -

I wanted a cut that was fresh and new. Dylan delivered and then some. She gave me the most awesome cut. Better than I had in years. She's top-notch. Friendly and personable. You won't be disappointed!!

When I showed the colorist what kind of hair color I wanted, she straight up told me that I wouldn't look good in it. That made me wonder,"Is she just saying that because she can't do the color? Because every ethnicity that worn this color looks good in it." I gave her several pictures. And if she could make my hair turn out like anyone of the pics I showed her, I would've appreciated. But my hair didn't come out like anything I showed her. My hair looked so ratchet! And she didn't even style or blow dry it for me! Worst salon ever.

I was dissatisfied with their costumer service. One girl tells me one thing, and another girl tells me another. I wanted to refund two hair products: not open, not used, and had the receipt. I called on the day I got it and asked Amanda, "What is your return policy?" She said, "As long as it's not open/used, you can return it and we'll give the money back." I live an hour and a half away. Since I just got back from there, I wasn't going to drive and hour and a half again the same day. So I called again to verify if they can return the money back to me and the second girl Michele said, "We can only return store credit for hair products." I'm a working student with minimal wage pay, and these hair products were expensive. I only bought them because my hair was butchered by them in the first place. But when they fixed the texture of my hair, it turned out that I didn't need the products. I kept begging to please refund me because no where in the store did I see their return policy and no where online was their refund policy was found. When I spoke to the owner, she said, "Come in and get another hair product for a lesser price and we will pay you the difference." So I drove an hour and a half (I live in AC) back to the salon, and did just that. but the product I chose for a lesser deal was still quite pricey (even though that was the cheapest one I could find). -.-

When I called for my first hair appointment at Suede, I was asked questions about my hair. The reason: so that one of their talented stylists would best be suited to work with my hair type.The front desk made me feel comfortable; friendly yet professional. I was greeted and introduced to Joanna, the best hair stylist I have been to in ages. She knew exactly what was best for me and made great suggestions. I have never walked out of a hair salon happier and more confident in my appearance and my smile showed it. I felt wonderful! Joanna is extremely talented and has a great personality.I can't wait for my highlights!

I've been going to Suede for years I always get compliments on my hair. All the services are great! Professional and talented staff. They know what they're doing. My advice is go you'll love it!

Fantastic place. The whole staff is wonderful, and Melissa, my stylist, is a pro beyond belief! I am not going anywhere else. Looking forward to trying some of their other services too.. I am due for a massage!

This place is awesome! I always look forward to going to this establishment and getting my haircut. Not only is the staff extremely friendly, but they have enormous amount of talented hair stylists. They also have a beautiful section that offers complementary delicious coffee and fresh pastries. I can honesty say I can't imagine going anywhere else to get my hair done.

Suede is my "Special place" namely, Cassie, my special angel who really makes a difference for me. She has the perfect color for me and the best haircut I've ever had. Always welcoming, the team at the front couldn't be nicer. Always helpful. My experiences at Suede have always been 5 star. A very comfortable place to go.
