I rate Storybook Village with 5 stars based on how creative and passionate the owners are. They love the kids and this store is everything about children's learning and imagination! It is pricey, but this is not a place that has regular everyday things. You could not walk into any typical retail store and get the experience that you get at this shop.

This place is great. Passionate owners about kids and imagination. We take our young children their and they read stories and then put on a short skit for the parents We go there every time we are in the area.

If you have a child in your life under 8 and you are anywhere near Pentwater this is a must stop. All the staff, especially the woman running the story hour, were all kind, helpful and great with my daughter and myself. It really was a magical bookstore.

Such a sweet store with amazing, high quality toys, puppets, books and more! Owners are helpful and very friendly. You won't want to miss this place when you visit Pentwatereven if you don't have small children!

I would say I wish I had never gone to this terribly managed store. However on my way out I found $1 on the sidewalk. Not all is lost after all!

This is probably the best children's bookstore I have ever been. We always make time for a stop when we are in Pentwater. The owners are very pleasant and helpful, and our daughter loves seeing (and reading) all the different kinds of books they have. The collection of puppets is very impressive. All around great spot if you have kids.
