What a terrific experience we had buying our first new car in many years. Jon Mead responded to an email within minutes and was there to help us the next day, bright and early. There was no wheeling and dealing in the purchase of our 2017 Outback. No surprises. Everything was upfront and honest. Jon explained everything about our new car carefully and patiently. He answered every question thoroughly, and I know if I have further questions I can call and ask him.

All the staff at Stivers were supportive, friendly, and caring.

This was probably the easiest experience I've ever had when purchasing a new car, and Jon Mead's positive and friendly attitude made all the difference.

Our sales agent, Jon, was extremely helpful walking us through our vehicle choices, options in purchasing/financing, and the overall process. He and his team were all very honest, up front, and transparent throughout the process and went above and beyond making the experience as easy and simple as possible. This is the first new car my wife and I have purchased and we couldn't be happier with our Outback or choosing Stivers!

The best car buying experience! From the moment you walk in the door you’re presented with class and value. Our Salesman Dave Ashbaugh was with us from start to finish. He presented us with options in the models we liked and guided us through what Subaru has to offer. We ended up purchasing a 2018 Outback that same day and a lot of that was due to the great service Dave and Subaru.

Also the $250 they give to charity after the purchase is an incredible kind bonus.

My husband and I wanted to get a new vehicle and focused in on a Subaru Forester. We went in and met Brian Traynor who patiently spent time with us and explained so many things about the process and the vehicle. Then..our financial fortunes took a hit and we had to pass on getting the vehicle. Fast forward over a year laterWe saw that Subaru was having a "zero percent" financing special that was ending in two days! We jumped at the chance and contacted Brian. He remembered us! We went in and once again, his calm yet enthusiastic demeanor came shining through showing us the new 2018 models. We got one we liked and in a short time, we had a new Subaru Forester Touring Edition! My husband is over the moon and I am so happy to have a great new vehicle and a place that seems to really care about us and our vehicle! Thanks again, Brian! Your expertise, calm and humorous demeanor were right on point even better the second time around!

I love Stivers. Truly, I do. I've only dealt with the service department, specifically with Ms. Lydia, but I have always had a pleasant experience. I cannot stress enough how important I believe customer service is and these folks know that. Lydia has always been incredibly helpful, honest, and empathetic to our different issues. When we're ready to buy another subie, we'll definitely be back here. I can only surmise that the sales department has to be equally as great!

James Smith made my first car buying experience one to remember. He was extremely knowledgeable on the models we were looking at and did not try to persuade me on way or another. James instantly made me feel comfortable and outlined in great detail what I could expect from the vehicles. After driving the 2017 Crosstrek for a few days I realize how spot on he was. The car was fantastic in the inclement weather we had this past weekend and I could not be any happier in my decision. Had it not been for both James prompt responses via email and willingness to provide an amazing customer experience I would still be looking for vehicles today. Overall the entire Stivers staff made me feel welcomed and the entire process was truly an enjoyable one for me and my family. I cannot thank everyone and especially James enough for the outstanding service!

Just bought my second car from Stivers Decatur Subaru. James Smith we think has been the best car sales person we have ever had. He used knowledge and listening instead of pushing for the sales. We were there past the closing time and James stayed until we understood everything there was to know about the car. Cheers to Mary in finance as well for not pushing the bells and whistles but informing us of what there was. Johnny the owner need to change his slogan to Service Sells Cars because that is why we are at Stivers. Thank you James for the great experience.

AMAZING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE - Ask for Lydia!
I came into this service department with car troubles caused by a faulty oil change at a national oil change service company. The service department at Stivers Decatur Subaru were extremely helpful in documenting my claim, helping me with the process of submitting all necessary information, and repairing my car quickly and effectively. Lydia at the service department went above and beyond in every instance to ensure that I was up-to-date on all information and that my car was receiving the service it required. She was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and provided an amazing experience. The team of technicians at the service department also took time out of their day to not just explain, but to show me exactly what was wrong with my car and what services it needed. They were both smart and helpful. This was an amazing customer service experience and I would recommend this 10/10 to everyone!

James Smith was my salesperson and he was unfailingly pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and informative. The car I purchased had fairly sophisticated safety features that one has to understand well before venturing very far out into Atlanta traffic. He explained and demonstrated every thing to me and at different times, both of my sons. It was the most pleasant car buying experience of my adult life.
This is a remarkable car and I recommend you keep James Smith in mind if you are entertaining the idea of buying one.

At age 70 we have purchased many cars and found James Smith at Stivers Decatur Subaru to be the most knowledgeable and helpful sales professional we encountered. Mr.Smith responded to my Internet inquiry immediately and stayed in contact with brief emails or phone calls during the 4 months we considered a purchase. During our search/research James Smith was the most knowledgeable on car specifications and accessories [among all brands] and helped us reach decisions on the best value station wagon for our purposes. This shopping/buying experience was very efficient and we are very satisfied customers.

Best car buying experience I've ever had. I hate buying cars because I can't stand pushy car salesmen that call you and won't leave you alone. Not a problem at Stivers. Everybody was friendly and helpful. Paul Milner was great!! Knowledgeable and did not pressure me. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Subaru. Loving my new Outback.

We are not the kind of folks to leave a review but we had such a memorable experience that we felt we should share As soon as we walked up to the front door, Dustin welcomed us with a warm smile and a hello that made us feel immediately at ease. Our entire experience at the dealership was one of comfort and confidence. At no point did we feel pressured, and there were always direct and thorough responses to our questions. My wife and I had a really great experience shopping for a new car at Stivers Subaru! We were assisted by two great sales consultants, James Smith and Dustin Earnest. Dustin helped us with our initial test drives of two Outback models and a Forester, and did a great job both in thoroughly explaining the features of each vehicle. We dealt with James Smith in working out the final details for our trade-in and purchase. James provided outstanding service in handling our purchase - we truly felt that he listened to all of our concerns and gave us the information we needed to make a decision. He also worked out a trade-in offer for our Volvo V70 that was very fair. We were impressed by his professionalism throughout our purchase. James went the extra mile when we picked up our new Outback by giving us an incredibly helpful orientation drive in our new Outback. He knows everything about the Outback and was very patient in answering our many questions. His efforts made us very comfortable with our new Outback! We left Stivers Subaru with a very positive impression of the entire operation.
