Great place have been with them for almost 9 years always fix anything we have a problem with.. There very understanding and are willing to work with you.. The only thing I don't like is we are gonna have to move to a bigger place cause they don't metro any houses but other then that, we love stimens and really hate to leave

Beware of this company.. We had an extremely bad experience with this company.. We sold our home this summer & was going to buy another home but decided to rent due to the crazy housing market .. Went to look at a rental , put down a deposit ( rental was still occupied by previous tenants) with a pet deposit .. A little over a 10 days later, informed them we could not move in ( they were still working on rental).. Called several times to inquire about receiving our down payment refund , received different answers, (staff is not friendly), finally stated we may pursue this in court ( we also were in process of hiring an attorney) & they reluctantly sent us a check refunding us for over 75% of our deposit.. Point is for over a month After informing them we could not move in , they were working to fix this rental up & it clearly stated on their website that this rental wasn't available yet, & but somehow they have tried to justify trying to keep our deposit money as well as our pet deposit.. This company deals with middle to lower income rentals & based on our deAlings with them we feel that they like to pick on the little guy if you will.. Think they realized that we had the means to fight back & would have taken them to court so they gave us a portion of our money back.. In the end we decided to cut our loses & hope Karma deals with them !!!DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.. They are untrustworthy & rip off people!!

First off they where really nice and i thought great. However, after feeling out a application and them taking my $20.00 I was suddenly not get enough for them. An just to be clear I have no priors, decent credit, and make over 12.00 an hr. With that being said they told me I'm sorry you just don't make enough for a 535 a month apt. I can't rent to you. As I walked out I heard one of the ladies say we don't rent to fat people sorry and giggled. Very unprofessional and only out for the application fee. Stay away

$800 a month in rent, nasty dirty carpet that would be replaced a month after my family moved in. (NEVER REPLACED, Kurt said if I paid for half of it and made sure my kids didn't spill anything he'd pay for the other half) huge slits in my kitchen floor, were to be fixed after I moved in, they were fixed seven months later. I came home to a random maintance man in my bedroom. with no notice. They won't and don't fix anything, including water leaks. Don't rent from stimens, he's a slum lord. Find out for yourself!

First time ever experiencing these people, from the time we walked in the owners wife was judging us by our looks and had already had her mind made up that she was not going to rent to us even though she allowed my fiance to fill out an application and even though we have three jobs between the two of us she told us that we wouldn't be able to make 575 a month when she had never met us or talked to us before she told my fiance that I needed to have my boss fill type a letter head paper stating the hours I work and days she had us go through all this trouble just to be picky and tell us to our face that she wasn't going to rent to us because of the breaks in between jobs and that if we were actually married and had a marriage license we would of gotten it my fiance tried to reason with this woman and she wasn't having it what I'd like to know is how they can have that attitude when all the apartments I've seen them rent out have been nasty and filthy and not to mention Chelsea square apartments has had several shootings and is basically rented out to majority black and every single one of them are on welfare or hud but two people that work for their money they wanna be stuck up rude unprofessional and make assumptions about people just by their looks if you ask me that's racial profiling. If this is your first time with these people and or your first time experiencing them DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME THEYRE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AS HELL!

Stimens has a stipulation that they will charge for every little thing but when I first moved in I pointed out some burnt out light bulbs and they gave me a package with enough bulbs to last me years. They're very understanding if you talk to them in a reasonable time, not the day you're moving out. The place I'm at is beautiful and much better than my previous rental.
