Absolutely amazing food, (the hot rock is really really cool). Not sure if the waitress just had an off day, but she was quite rude. She assumed I didn’t know much about sushi and was a bit uppity when asked what she thought about a specific item. When I was finishing up by eating the shredded carrots off of the plate, I got one chopstick full and brought it over my palate, and she picked up the plate with the carrots on it, after she WATCHED me pick up the carrots and put them in my mouth, then took my plate as I was putting a second mouthful from the original chopstickful. That said, she could have been having a rough day if that’s the case I hope she has a better day.
The Crispy Beef is no longer as good as it was when this restaurant was known as Steel. They've added a thick breading, so not very crispy at all. Almost like sweet and sour chicken.
The service was still good though.
My first time eating here was not disappointing. When I entered I was greeted with an amazing and clean environment and warm welcomes. To top it all off they served some of the best sushi I have ever had. Amazing!
Great place to dine. They have half off Sushi specials on Wednesday’s so that is even better. Our waitress was also amazing! What I didn’t like was the automatic gratuity for a party of two?! That is a bit tacky especially since I’m a great tipper! Everything else was good.
Much better than the one in Cumberland. At least decor-wise. Food was just as good. I live the fried rice at both places. Seems this one is more sushi. A bit more pricy, but it's worth it. Came for lunch, service was fast and friendly. Not much of a wait. Loved it.
Outstanding service and delicious Japanese food. Wednesdays is half price for ~95% of the menu. The manager was engaging and waiters professional and attentive. Put Kuroshio on your meal plan if you're visiting Atlanta.
I really like Kurushio. The sushi & cooked dishes are both really good. I've ordered to-go & dined in. Servers at the bar & table are super pleasant. My top recommendations are the Udon Soup & the Veggie Fried Rice. My only warning is that some of the appetizer portions are small & not worth their price.
Great food. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Staff very helpful and friendly. Greatest fried steak I've ever had.
The best sushi in town. Excellent service and waitresses are very nice and courteous. Nice setting. I love the sushi here. This is the place for great sushi.
Went to The Midtown location, around 4pm. Had a good vibe. Quiet, but not too quiet. The lighting was on point. Had the corner pub feel. But very upscale. On the corner, downtown. Great experience! More than I expected!
Excellent modern Japanese food. Great noodles
Loved the sushi and crispy beef.
The quality of the food was poor and overpriced. It was like adding insult to injury.
Great food. Loved it.
Super pricy lunch boxes, small portionsI've had better elsewhere.
Good food but it took well over an hour to get it. We got a to go order and that took an additional hour. Ridiculous. Half price Wednesday is great but I would pay more for faster service. If you're up for sushi and don't mind a LONG wait it's not a bad stop.
