We love Staump. Our son has been taking drum lessons for over 2 years and loves his "jam sessions" with Wes. Wes is a great teacher who is passionate about music. He is kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend Staump to all music lovers.

My two boys absolutely love it here! They have been taking classes since they were 4 and 6, and the Staump Music School team has inevitably become part of our extended family. Tim and Wes do a fantastic job of adapting to the needs of their students, and really playing to their strengths to give them a well-balanced education in music and life. The staff genuinely cares about their students and it shows in everything they do. Kudos to the entire team with a special shout-out to Tim, Wes, Erin, and Rachel. Thank you for providing such a safe and nurturing environment for our local youth!

My son started drum lessons over a year ago now at Staump with Tim! I switched from another local place and I’m so glad we did! My observations are that Tim has a ton of experience, he has passion for what he does and he gives individualized lessons, where he caters to the child’s needs. My son started with a group lesson and then on his own. I’m so grateful for my son’s overall experience at Staump. My son unfortunately doesn’t do a lot of practicing on his own at home, so when I sit in on his lessons it just amazes me how much he has learned just coming to lessons once a week. But from the beginning to now, he has shown more confidence in drumming, way more coordination, rhythm and beat! He can play a few songs, and is working up courage to play more in front of camera! That’s another great opportunity is to have your work be professionally recorded. What a gift.
Tim will go as fast and as slow as the child is willing to go and be supportive along the way. Tim also gives him tips and tricks to help him get past any frustration. He has taught my son that having fun drumming is important and not to stress about the small stuff. At the same time, he motivates my son to have breakthroughs, which is wonderful to witness. I can’t wait to see what he does next!

My son is enrolled in piano and guitar. He loves his class. Miss Rachel is his teacher/instructor. She is excellent, very patient with children; she has experience and knowledge. I love the concerts Staump organizes. It's magic to see children, young people, and adults play and sing in a concert. I highly recommend this school, thank you for the music Staump! Music makes life better.

Staump is a special place. The positive energy and comradery makes kids excited to learn and play. Teachers Erin and Wes are wonderful. They don't just teach music, they inspire the kids to want to be a part of the music scene. The fun learning environment, structured band curriculum and levels, along with the social element make kids want to play. Well done and thank you!
