Very pretty, great views, even has a kiddie park for the younger ones to play and enjoy themselves as you all enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean.

You can have a nice walk here and learn about one Georgia's earliest settlements. Plus you can read about the settlers lives. The pic shows a funny story about a settler..

Great place to visit for the family. There is a nearby park with lots of things to do, does not cost a fortune. There is also nearby shopping area for you to browse the local shops. I really like and appreciate the local feel and friendliness of the local people here. This place gives the area a sense of history too.

Great place to see some history it's very well-maintained. It has easy accessibility and beautiful view even if you don't climb the tower.

Beautiful, quiet relaxing quaint town. If for just a weekend or a week it really is a lovely place to visit

Well kept lighthouse with a nice little museum. It's a pretty easy climb, too, with handrails on the left side. Not to mention the fact that the view from the top is incredible! Definitely worth the detour off I-95.

The museum and tour were $12. I got there at 4:29pm and tours completely stop at 4:30pm, so I would arrive by 4pm at the latest so you have a few minutes to browse the house.

My husband and I were on the island for business and I knew he had never been anywhere like this. We took the tour of the house, shop, and light house. It was a great time. Staff was kind and knowledgeable.

This lighthouse is absolutely gorgeous. We took the tour that is offered and the views are spectacular. Its not pricey either to take the tour, something nice to do with friends and family if you have some spare time in between other adventures on st. Simons island.

We were so disappointed. We are from Missouri and arrived 5 minutes to late. Mapquest said it closed at five o'clock. We arrived at 4:35 and was told we were to late, last climb tickets are sold at 4:30. Told them this was our only chance to see it. We won't be able to get back here. She Didn't care, she well that's to bad. Not very friendly.
Looked great from the outside. Would have loved to see the view from the top. ☹

Great place, food and fun for family. Best seafood place ever been. Try Iguanas Seafood Restaurant if you ever visit this small town. The best on the island. And the light house is to die for. Very historic

Beautiful place, so well maintained. Was looking forward to touring lighthouse and museum but price tag was way too high. Expected it to be $8 or under. $13 was too high. Took lovely photos of the outside instead.
