I have been going to St. Elizabeth Seton for 42 years and would not go anywhere else. The homilies are so interesting and yes, sometimes funny. This church gives so much to the community especially to the food pantry, it takes a number of people to carry all the bags of food downstairs. I leave spiritually happy, fulfilled and rejuvenated from St. Elizabeth Seton.

Difficult church to pray in after Mass. A lot of noise from conversations emanating from groups of people socializing inside various parts of the church-especially near the altar and the area where the Tabernacle is located. It was especially difficult to pray after Easter Sunday Mass this past Sunday, 3/27/2016. The church has a large vestibule that connects with a very large, newly-built narvix, where people can congregate and interact. Community fellowship is important, but the inner church should be respected as a house of prayer.

1/15/2017 - Still no improvement. Church as noisy as ever after Mass. I mentioned the difficulty praying after Mass to the monsignor shortly after the the narvix was completed. He was in agreement that post-Mass fellowship should be conducted in the vestibule and/or adjoining narvix, but to date, nothing has been done to encourage this. In fairness, this phenomenon, of difficultly praying after Mass due to noisy parishioners, has been observed in almost every other parish in the diocese including hospital chapels.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is a vibrant parish community that we are happy to call home. Our youngest children love the "little church." Msgr. Quinn and Fr. Roger both give enriching and meaningful homilies with sprinklings of humor.
