Been attending OBC for nearly 20 years. When we first moved to Kansas we had been attending another local church but just didn't connect. We were invited to OBC by a neighbor and have never left. Solid Biblical teaching and contemporary worship. Love the ability to watch online when we can't make it to one of the two services. Men's Fraternity allow men to become a better husband, father and disciple of Christ. The church is large but not overwhelming compared to other churches in the area.

Literally the greatest church in the planet, and let me tell you why. First of all right when you walk in your welcomed with a good handshake, like a really good like dad handshake. It makes you feel good and they welcome you in and it's already got a good vibe. BTW this is gonna be long but that's ok cause I'm an insider and I have the knowledge you need and trust me, you will love his place! Then once your in there you can just tell the holy Spirit really he working there cause everyone is in a good mood and it's calm but energetic at the same time which is confusing but cool! The services are awesome too! Pastor Mike Bickley is an incredible man with an awesome story and I'm glad I can call him a friend and pastor. I'm only 18 and we friends. Heck ya that's right! But back to the service. They really educate you on the word and build your spiritual walk. It's encouraging and it help you grow. They also have a focus on evangelism, as any church should, so if your down to go on a mission trip or something it just get involved in the community, it's a great place to start. If your interested in going I'd highly recommend you go! Just check it out, you'll love it! And at the end of the service go talk to pastor Mike and ask him any questions or just get to know him and the church he would love to talk to you. And tell him Levi Burkett sent you ;)
P.S. if your looking for a youth program for kids or teenagers I wouldn't go anywhere else. They do a phenomenal job here. I've personaly been involved in it and have worked in the childrens ministry for years and I love it and I can honestly tell you that they do a wonderful job! Also the highschool and middle school services are amazing and the people are fantastic. Jeff and Ian are the most incredible people I know and I love them so much for all they have taught me. It's an awesome experience, especially if you get involved and go to life group. It will change your life!

It's a GREAT place to worship. Everyone is VERY friendly and make you feel welcome. Kids have a wonderful time in their classes and look forward to hearing what they've learned

I've been attending this church for a year now and love it! Pastor Mike preaches great messages; he teaches challenging lessons that are biblically accurate and relevant to our daily lives. The worship is upbeat and encouraging and has moved me at times in a very powerful way. The people there are very welcoming. Even though it's a bigger church, there are lots of ministries and bible studies you can get involved with to make it easier to connect with others. I've found my new church home, and hope you might swing by and visit sometime too!

OBC is a non-denominational, evangelical Bible church. "Passionately following Jesus" is their motto and the goal of their mission.

Their two Sunday morning worship services have a modern feel and there are a significant number of adult group classes offered as well to learn in and build relationships in a smaller group setting. "Small groups" also meet throughout the week to provide more "life on life" relationships and opportunity to study and grow in Christ with others.

The children's ministry at OBC has been developing significantly over the last several years particularly in the grade-school age classes. Each weak the children learn in a variety of different ways, such as drama, hands-on science experiments, arts and crafts, etc

OBC seems to excel at being involved with the community, and I'm always surprised at the variety of ministries the church has and the number of ways people can be involved.

I know everyone has a different take on what kind of church fits them well, so I hope this at least provides a bit of direction on the kind of church OBC is.
